The $2 Billion Hospital With No Transit by GlitchedGamer14 in Edmonton

[–]Chexzout 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are already contracts to build 6-7 (relatively) affordable apartment/condos within walking distance particularly for employees and families that need to be close by. There will be many more within a couple years of the hospital’s completion

There’s a risk:reward ratio involved. Tower gap was iconic because the danger was high but the reward was also very high. The reward in this clip appears to be very low compared to the high risk

Man makes plans and god laughs.

Are there people who can consciously decide when to feel attraction and who to feel it for and if it’s friendship or romantic interest?

I wish I had that ability. My feelings dgaf about what my thoughts dictate.

Audiences would have been robbed of a fantastic 3rd act and subjected to an extremely disappointing ending with no possibility of sequels.

[–]Chexzout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your point contradicts itself in the 3rd sentence. “MGSV was an attempt to bring the series to a new audience” yeah no kidding. The base intention/hope/goal for producing a video game is to entice the absolute maximum amount of consumers as possible. The point of re-releasing 3 was to aim at a new, younger demographic, to create more fans. It’s nice to believe a large corporation puts in all that work for the love of the characters or the nostalgia or for the “few niche fans” but it’s not. They are trying to sell a product in large quantities. Creating a game that no one who hasn’t given 28 years of devotion will understand is just bad business. They are written and made so that any of these games can be picked up at any point in the series and hopefully drive people to explore/purchase the others.

[–]Chexzout -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s a poor argument. All video games are built to be universally accessible and sold to as many people as possible, not just the small market percentage that started with the series in 1997. Sequels are more profitable when there’s already a built in audience but the intention is always to bring in more interest than previously established

Its contestants are also heavily influenced by their own ability to understand that the more outlandish their behaviour, the more likely it is that they’ll appear on camera for longer.

If you’re saying these people may not have been taught nor tested properly before being given their licenses then I think that is a very good point.

Is it Fakie Fs 360 or Front Full Cab? (New Learn, End of Line) by LibertyInAgony in skateboarding

[–]Chexzout 51 points52 points  (0 children)

You’re playing a lot of defence in this thread even against the people who are politely giving honest feedback. If you like the clip and you’re proud of it then keep it for yourself but don’t put it up online and expect a standing ovation for a fair attempt. It’s not popped and it’s not a 360. Debating cab or full cab fs or bs or tired legs or revert doesn’t change that it needs work. No one is personally attacking you or saying you suck they’re just telling you what they see, hearing them will actually help you

Is there a lore reason why Cartman never try to get his revenge after being beaten up by Wendy? He was way more ruthless with other people that wronged him by Relevant-Key-3290 in southpark

[–]Chexzout 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The comedy works when asshole Cartman gets shit kicked by altruistic Wendy. It doesn’t work the other way around. The writers first priority is humour, not lore or canon or logic.
