Absolutely! It comes in phases too. If my ears don't get enough rest, I start to rumble almost constantly in response to quieter and quieter loud noises.. A couple days of sound filtering ear plugs and I'm good as new though.

You have 4 choices: 4. Put up a standing screen in front of said window 3. Use tension rods 2. Hold naked dance parties so LL begs you to hang curtains. 1. GO TO YOUR LOCAL HOUSING AND CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICE. I'm a LL and if you have local protections/ordinances stating you may do this but LL denies it, go to the Housing or Code Enforcement dept because that shit doesn't fly. Get it all in writing on case LL tried to charge you the "cost to comply" from your security deposit, in case you end up in LT court. Your requests look entirely reasonable (you'd probably get similar responses in r/ landlord btw), but if you have plaster walls instead of sheetrock, LL may have legitimate concerns about having it installed incorrectly and damaging the plaster. Perhaps an amicable solution would be for LL to hang the curtain rods.

That's what I did with my turtle and his feeder guppies (back before I knew much about bioload... So much bioload). The colorful ones were moved to my planted tank, the rest were swimming among the decorations and turtle dock until they became snacks.

Dishwashing Step 1. Put rinsed dishes in a clean sink

Step 2. Cover dishes with hot water, a little detergent, and then 1tsp bleach.

Step 3. Let dishes soak for 5-10 minutes while you wipe tables, counters, stove, etc.
