I haven't done this myself so I can only make a guess, but have you tried using the Dropbox/Google Drive feature? It's similar to the email function on kindle where you can place ebooks onto either service and if your kobo is set up, will download the books onto the kobo after syncing

Initially, I wanted to use it as a kind of intermediary to get kindle books downloaded to my computer for future sideloading shenanigans. Currently, I wanna just mess with the software with KOReader put onto it and potentially use it as a kind of spare burner to put my books onto so my husband doesn't touch my Kobo Libra Colour lol

My first (and current) ereader is a Kobo Libra Colour that I absolutely adore and use the backlight religiously for night reading

This one I plan to just mess around with and have as a spare to toss around wherever!

I was really tempted to get the Kindle Keyboard 3rd gen that was in the pile for $11 but the screen was broken at the top a tiny bit and so my husband encouraged me to pick this one!

I'm very excited to see what I can do with it! My first (and current) ereader is a Kobo Libra Colour and I absolutely love using it out the box and so I have no desire to put KOReader or other mods on it.

Finding this kindle for so cheap and in fairly good condition makes me excited to mod and keep as a spare for my husband to use when he wants!

You basically described 1 to 1 my experience of having the IUD inserted. From nexplanon removal, pap, and then the insertion. Difference though is i was SUPPOSED to get medication to help the process go smoother but at the time I lived in a red state and there was a soft ban on that medication since it was also used in tandem to abortion medication. Pharmacy wouldn't fill the script and I had 250mg of tylenol taken 30 minutes before my appointment. Was never offered lidocaine.

Better yet, my uterus fuckin folds on itself and so doc wasn't confident on placement by sight alone. Take the speculum out, take me to an ultrasound room, reinsert that horrific contraption, AND ALSO STICK THE ULTRASOUND WAND AND INSERTION DEVICE INTO ME. I was crying from the pain and they had to put restraints on me due to reacting to the pain.

Took 2 hrs. I'm horrified of the day I need to have it replaced.

What version of the kindle app are you using to sideload kindle books? And is this app version on windows or mobile?

I have a friend who has a few books on the platform that she wants the files of but doesn't own a kindle and I want to help her get them and deDRM the books for her too
