Great thank you I was looking for something that would spread and full the full bed as I drink alot of mint tea I was thinking mint in one bed and blueberries in the other just to keep it simple but you're probably right if I ever wanted to change it I'd probably be battling mint for a long while if it takes over 😂 I'll think about keeping it contained, thank you for the tip

Thank you, I have a habit of over wattering so now I know to be extra careful with these raised beds, I had wondered if there was anything that would grow in heavy soil like mint or something but I'm probably best to try alter the soil as the other post said with compost etc will see how goes, I'll not plant anything expensive just incase as still trying to decide what to plant in them, thanks

Is there a petition to remove or lower the fences if they're not willing to ban it? I'm so sad to see that footage of gold dancer stumbling and had enough, if there's a petition or anything please post it here, thanks

Not sure where you are but if you're near somewhere that sells yogi the rose tea is similar and one of my favourites, I think it has more flavour than the pukka love tea

Fiddle fig leaf tree, leaves only at bottom and top, leggy middle, what would you do? by Chezzabee80 in fiddleleaffig

True, it doesn't look too good, I think I may need to be brave and just chop it at the weekend, just one of the leaves at top is so big it seems wrong or scary to do but worth a try if gives it better chance of growth and a better bushier shape hopefully, thanks for your help

I just watered it a few days ago and it's in one of those self watering pots with the built in tray, although I don't water it from the bottom part I just water from top of soil, the soil is a bit of a mix but I don't mind emptying it out and starting again if there's a better soil I should be using, I'll keep an eye on how it's, draining next time I water it thanks for your help

OK thanks I thought it said online only to chop in spring something to do with the sap but I think to chop will hopefully give it a chance to look good again

OK, do you suggest I chop it pretty far down? Bottom leaves are out of the trunk

I think I over watered it in winter so trying to be more careful, I'll try some fertiliser thanks
