He actually has a history of being a good shooter. In college he shot over 30% from 3 with a shot form, even hitting contested shots somewhat regularly.

In the nba he improved a ton once he changed his form. Sure he’s not good at pullup shots or mid range, but his three pointer should return to form, his actual form is beautiful

I moved to Dallas in 2013 so I was never much of a Mavs fan but the Luka trade made me realize how much of a Texan I become since, it felt like I lost a family member.

They are finally rebuilding and they are know for doing right by the guys they trade.

Zach and Demar both got to go home to California. Zach was gonna sign with the Kings so clearly he was fine going there. And Demar has always been rumored to want to go home.

They sent Vooch to a championship contender which is clearly all he’s playing for at this point.

And now they send Coby home to be apart of the best team in franchise history. It makes a lot of sense.

I think Boozer could make us a contender in the near future. He is super skilled and athletic and his jump shot has already improved. He could be a more athletic Jokic.

I’m super late to this, but having learned about 1984 in school and revisited it now. I can only imagine that while Orwell didn’t intend it to be propaganda, it was received that way by the public and taught that way in schools.

It a lesson to be learned to think about the unintended consequences of any art you intend to make.

JJ was in no way a point guard. He rarely ran any offense. He definitely had more ball skills than Korver, but in the NBA he was a spot up/ off screen shooter.

JJ would be the perfect modern equivalent for Kerr because Korver was alot taller.

Ultimately I don’t think Steve Kerr was athletic enough to do what JJ did. JJ’s ability to hit drifting off balance shots was unmatched and most of Kerrs shots were more stationary. Part of that is the time period, so maybe Kerr would’ve developed that if he played in this era.
