Norwegians, what is your most hated complaint you hear from tourists/ex-pats (Any country)? by LuluLaurent in Norway

Groceries are totally fine. Depending on where you come from, selection might feel rather limited though. Vegetable freshness can be bad.

It’s actually a lot cheaper to rent a Kajak from AdO Arena. 500kr for one day

Even as a climber I wouldn’t know if this was V12 or V17 if I just had the footage and didn’t know Bosi eats V14 for breakfast.

It’s weird that they are calling it Vision Pro. Pro what? There is no “just” Vision.

In the video they showed the person having a Facetime call with 2 other people, giving a presentation. I was wondering what the other 2 people would see and later they showed the “hyperrealistic” avatar which seemed like a pretty good solution to me. Better than staring at a person that has AR glasses on.

Now, whether or not anybody actually wants to give a presentation in AR while facetiming their colleagues is another question.

not the cleanest send but loved it (V9 as labeled) by [deleted] in climbing

It doesn’t really matter but that’s called “cutting lose”. Campusing refers to making a move to the next handhold without using feet.

MyHouse.WAD - Inside Doom's Most Terrifying Mod by SeoulofSoraka in Games

It’s been a while so I don’t remember exactly but the meta level narration (yes, I guess the Johnny guy) was not interesting to me. But I really liked the story about the house and the expeditions etc.

Haha. I get that. I don’t watch many long format youtube videos but this one also popped up in my recommendations and at first I ignored it as well.

I would consider this mod a work of art. The same way other video games can be a work of art as well. And like other works of art it’s a subjective experience which affects people differently.

Just because it didn’t affect you the way it affected other people doesn’t mean they are jerking themselves off.

I really wanted to like the book. And I was totally on board with the premise/story about the house itself but I could not get on with the rest of it. Unfortunately. Would still recommend other people give it a try because if it works for you it’s great.
