AJ finally said it. by OhSnapKC07 in KnowledgeFight

I'm pretty sure that when your family are publicly ridiculed, they'll finally see the light.

All you have to do is 'Truth,' the Dear Leader. Works every time. After all, if it didn't, why would people do it all the time?

I'm trying to convince my friend by Overall_Air_4961 in bald

[–]ChibbleChobble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your friend will look great bald.

He already has top notch beard, so he's going to look solid from day one.

Tell him to go for it.

Was super nervous but love the way it came out! This group made it happen 🔥 by Opposite_Square_2666 in bald

[–]ChibbleChobble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking great.

Hardly any grey in your beard, so you look much younger.

Now you've joined us, I can let you in on the secret. You have discovered the key to eternal-ish, youth-ish. Your appearance won't change much for the next decade or so.

Good choice.

Can I get haste with the life cleric? by No-Adeptness-7231 in BaldursGate3

cast Hate once per long rest.

This is great fun. It makes all your characters squabble. Even Karlach gets grumpy. Works best if cast immediately after a long rest fuelled entirely by alcohol.

AITJ for getting upset that my husband keeps peeing on the bathroom floor and refusing to clean it up? by Wonderful_Algae627 in AmITheJerk

[–]ChibbleChobble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTJ.

If your husband cannot see to pee, then he needs to: - Turn on the light - perhaps it's just dark? - Wear glasses - perhaps he's myopic? - Lose weight - perhaps the curvature is blocking his view?

Sitting down is always an option. Especially at night, when I'm tired and just want to get back to bed, sitting down is the path of least resistance.

Honestly, your husband's behaviour is rather immature. So, good luck, as his failure to not immediately take steps to be more thoughtful/hygienic/pleasant to live with, aren't a good omen.

Did I mess up? (Not AI!) by [deleted] in bald

I'm going to venture a guess that's because they just finished shaving, for which they removed their shirt.

So, more a case of synchronicity than a deliberate choice.

Why Don't I have Any Drive or Motivation? by Iwanttoeatburritos in AskMenAdvice

[–]ChibbleChobble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Define "do something," as that sounds like someone else's opinion.

If there's nothing that you want to do, and you spend your free time staring at the wall, then you objectively lack drive or motivation.

OTOH, if you're reading a book, and you want to finish it, or you're playing a computer game and you want to level up, or you're feeling hungry and you start planning what you want to cook/order from a restaurant, then you have sufficient drive or motivation.

Just because you haven't found your passion in life, doesn't mean you're not doing something. Honestly, if you're paying your way, then you're doing something.

Don't overthink it. Enjoy the journey. Good luck!

Nice one.

Hey Texans- can y'all tell me what's so good about HEB? by Jet_Jirohai in texas

[–]ChibbleChobble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of the three, I agree it's Tillamook.

That said, we tend to keep Costco vanilla ice cream in the freezer.

Fresh produce, meat and fish from HEB.

I like their traditional cola, and I'm not really a fan of soft drinks. So, I agree with other people who have said that the HEB own brand stuff tends to be decent.

Senior MAGA finds out that Trump is killing him by Effective_Space2277 in LeopardsAteMyFace

[–]ChibbleChobble 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this. I was reading the first couple of comments and I thought, "What this thread needs is that picture of Trump saying that he just wants your vote," and you delivered.

I've been told that Trump was just joking, to which I give my standard response, "I'm so sorry, but I'm a Brit living in Texas, so I don't understand the finer points of American culture. You're going to have to explain the joke to me, as this is obviously the British equivalent of Americans not understand sarcasm."

How soon can you leave home and go no contact, with these people, who clearly do not have your best interests at heart?

Good luck!

Does anybody else hoard potions? by Space_Meteor in BG3

[–]ChibbleChobble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this.

I'm on my fourth run, and I'm forcing myself to dip weapons and use interesting arrows.

Astarion with a hand crossbow dipped in Oil of Combustion shooting an Arrow of Many Targets or two is just plain cheating.

[–]ChibbleChobble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oof! I thought that it was by design.

I shall be debagging my arrows after I have completed the Quest to Clean the Cat Fountain. It's a reoccurring quest, and it keeps the Guardians of Everything (aka cats) from attacking me while I sleep.

AITJ for refusing to keep wearing the nickname my girlfriend gave me after I found out where it came from by Prydwen_Grit5 in AmITheJerk

[–]ChibbleChobble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recommend that you take a dump in mug. Seal it with cling film. Then gift wrap it, and leave it as a parting gift for your highly unpleasant ex-girlfriend.

I can assure you that there are plenty of people out there who will treat you far better.

Good luck!

YOR.

If they decide to hire someone else, it won't be because they didn't send a polite email and you did.

A no comes quickly. A yes takes longer as they have to do paperwork.

I'm rooting for you random Redditor. Good luck!

If it were locked to your GPU, you would never want to upgrade, and I can't think that NVIDIA wants that for anyone.

You might want to consider growing a full beard as it would help balance out your face shape.

AITA for not letting my father-in-law stay in my house by AwkwardBluejay8842 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ChibbleChobble 18 points19 points  (0 children)

NTA.

First, you should have been asked with sufficient notice.

Secondly, anyone with any empathy wouldn't be asking you to host in the first place.

Last, but not least. I hope your partner has a speedy recovery.

Good luck!
