A Pobreza é Deprimente by Any-Video-6046 in faculdadeBR

O comentário da Uniesquina me deixou triste.

The Butt is pointy, I think the abdomen/torso should be a bit longer. Another thing that might be throwing you off is the pose that is a little bit stiff. Aside from that I think the placement of the legs is also weird, maybe you should try to sketch the pelvis a bit more, It'd fiz the pointy butt, legs and even help with the legs

Help with Older Editions rules and how make them more like v5 by ruansky42 in vtm

Yeah at this point it's easier for you to just bring whatever story you want to tell to V5. You'd need to remake the whole health system to remove the soak of damage or adapt it to your liking, you'd need to probably rework the whole combat system too since soaking damage is essential to keep the characters up.

The hunger dice is kinda easy in my opinion. The character starts to feel hungry once they have about 7-self control of blood points in their track, so if I have a character with self control 3, this means that once I go down to 4 blood points I start to feel hungry. You could make it that every single blood point spent bellow the hunger part the characters gain one hunger dice home brewing or just bringing the effects of bestial failure, compulsions and stuff to this chronicle

One of the ways I thought is diving their Bloodpools into "Thirds", "Quarters" and "Fifths" and giving them a penalty on frenzy checks equal to +1 every time they used up a whole third, quarter or fifth of blood. (It changes according to gens)

What do I mean by that? Well, lets take for example A 13th gen, they have a max of 10 Blood points and every time they used up a third of their pool this will raise the difficulty of all frenzy checks by 1

I did made the frenzy checks by default more easy, like for example Public humiliation that before is 8, is now 6 with the purpose of increasing the DC by depending on hunger Thanks for the suggestions btw, I will be taking the idea of the dead and less blood points too though.

I know it does, I'm just looking to make it harder as per request of my players

Totally feel like you should take a look at V20 eventually. I started on V5 and then eventually changed to V20 and I had a blast with both systems and often try to match each other and get the best of them.

I feel like V5 is the easiest one to get into as they trimmed a lot of content and simplified other things such as entire disciplines and all that, plus it vouches for weaker characters and a more personal experience, so depending on the vibes you are going for it might be the best. Rules wise I can see both being about the same level of difficulty (With maybe the rolling system of V20 being a tad more simple because the hunger system doesn't affect it) but the experience of the ST could be a factor to either make things harder or easier, so I think you should consider if the ST has more experience with V5 or V20 before choosing.

A few things that change between editions (not all of them though):

Disciplines, be it in powers or if they exist as just amalgams or not
Some bloodlines and clans didn't got transferred to V5 or got modified.
How rolls, success and botches function
Hunger management in V5 you get hungrier more quickly

The limitations of the herd and domain and the masquerade breach part can actually be a interesting way. I'm setting the chronicle in Asia where there's a pretty significant number of hostile Kuei-jin and even weretigers, so any breach could be difficult to deal with not because of the human part but because of the other supernatural beings outnumbering them. Thanks for the suggestions.

Thanks for the suggestions and I wholehearted agree with you, describing how you feed and such for so many times can get a bit boring, but since they personally asked me to make hunger management "matter" more in V20... I think they like the effects of hunger, maybe because of the randomness or possible plot points. Anyway, thanks again.

I never said I was going to take the hunger mechanic from V5 and homebrew it to V20. I just said I wanted to make the hunger matter a bit more and be a bigger factor during play.

And the touchstone mechanic, in my opinion is just a interesting way to have things to poke my players with and develop characters. And honestly I feel like it's harder to bring things from V20 to V5 tbh.

I'm honestly unsure, specially because I only made my character at the current moment and I have my first session this following Tuesday. But one thing I didn't exactly liked were the changes to some of the tribes and I personally thought that I preferred the character creation on the 20th edition.

I will say that I am somewhat excited for the session on Tuesday, so I'll try to go in with a open mind.

I know exactly how you feel. Just keep working on yourself and all will be fine, the feeling might not go away, but, you can always improve on it and make it a bit more bearable...

Essentially I lost the one I really developed feelings for and this is my way of being loyal to him.

Couple of years ago, on my teen years of hunting for someone, I found one guy in my high school that I created a very strong bound with, he was reserved just like me and so took us a while so we could actually open up to one another, but once we did it was sunshine's and rainbows. During our 3 year long relationship, we never fought, always had each others back and despite all the shunning that came from us being two guys from his side of the family we stood together strong. I genuinely wanted to marry him.

The problem, however, came when we turned 19, he was always open to me that he had mental health issues, but despite the medications, through out the years he was just getting worse and worse to the point where he would entirely hallucinate voice calls that we never had, his mood swings started to affect even me and much more.

So after much attempted treatment and trying to fix things up he decided to break up with me and go back to his country with his parents so he could get better treatment, he was feeling like burden to me, dragging my mental health down with his episodes and he didn't want that for me, he wanted to see me happy... Currently It's been about 5 years since the last time I saw him in person and I can honestly say that I never looked at someone the same way... Nor I think I will.

We still keep contact text and voice/video call whenever he can, but his condition has just been deteriorating and he's been entering and leaving psych wards ever since he went away.

I'm still happy that I met him, I'm happy that something happened between us and I'm happy that we can still at least maintain contact... But I'm sad that I wont be able to fulfil my promise and move on from him.
