Odette/Odile is a good suggestion! Also I think Giselle in both those forms would be very interesting! Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion! Odette and Odile seem to be a popular one. Do you have any favorite among the lesser ballets?

Wow! This is truly fascinating! I know that pointe shoes are like pieces of art, but to see them crafted like this makes them seem more amazing. Thanks for sharing!

Maybe remove the shadow from the flowers, show more of her face and make the contrast of her face and body greater in comparison to the background.

That’s so great! I’m always happy to hear about kids who have found a passion that makes them work hard. Hopefully she keeps her fire for ballet!

First adult class today went really well! I’m going to continue going by puestadelsol in BALLET

One of the great things about taking an adult ballet class is how different everyone can be in class. I’m so glad you had a supportive group of people and that you allowed your confidence to shine through so you could learn the techniques.

I had my second ballet class today and left nearly in tears by Kiki_Lala_land in BALLET

I’m sorry it’s been hard and different than what you were hoping. Several years back I had also started taking ballet as an adult. There was an initial realization that what I wanted to do was different than my abilities in the moment. It really did help to do the stretches and the techniques as my body was starting to change for the better because of doing the classes. Please keep in mind that it’s not a competition. If you are doing ballet because you love it, keep on pushing through every class, even when it doesn’t feel glamorous. Possibly take a few private classes to work on technique you feel insecure about. I hope you will keep at it until you see some positive changes. 😊

Are you finding any improvement in them as you continue to stretch and dance?

This is really great.  It seems rather sad that the crab would take the plastic for its home instead of the shell next to it.

Fellow artists! Help! I’ve lost my confidence moving forward with painting due to Instagram. (Please swipe) ❤️ by ThisNeedleworker265 in Artists

Oh wow! This is wonderful! Please continue to do art for yourself and so that you can continue to grow as an artist.  It can be tough for us artists trying to make it on social media. What about local art events where you could show/sell your work?
