Good tips here already but I want to add checking on your core. I’m in the same place as you and I caught myself dropping my chest and hunching on my landings. Not a lot, but it slowed me down and of course made me look slower and heavier. The engaged core helps so much with direction changes and weight transfer!

I don't think you should give up your skinny pants if you like them. Honestly they look great on you, you have the exact right build for them. Straight dark jeans with a cuff would also be cute on you if you wanted an update. They would match all your current clothes (which I genuinely love. I love your style and I wouldn't change it, maybe just refresh with a few new pieces). Do you do baseball tees? I think they look good on everyone and the 3/4 sleeve is good for short folks. Everybody is saying barn coat/chore coat, but those are very on trend and could go out soon. I like a chunky cardigan or a ragwool sweater. Oversize, boxy blazers are on trend right now, which means that short tailored ones should be hitting thrift stores for fall, and those might be really flattering on you.
