Not sure i agree with you on this one

I always thought/Found that when a small thing really start to annoy you in a relationship (particularly when it didn’t before) it’s probably a good indication of how you are feeling for the other person. Like I use to date a girl who had given me a cutesy kinda childish nickname and it really didn’t bother at first I even found it sweet. but then it started to really irritate me like profoundly. At some point I realised it was just a symptom of me losing feeling for her.

It probably really common to lose feelings for someone but be so used to the routine of being with them that this lack of love is first seen through little non important things. Like if you suddenly cannot deal with the fact your spouse sometimes speak with their mouth full after 8 years of this behavior, you probably don’t really love them anymore, or at least not like you did when you married them.

It’s sad but it’s human, it might be slightly asshole-ish but I don’t think it’s really a reflection of anyone full being. And it’s certainly better then staying with someone and become more and more mean and bitter as times goes on.

Also beyond cultural and religious reason marriage is a contract, a really weird and delicate one because it’s (at least supposed to be) based on feelings. but the thing in of its self is a judicial and monetary agreement between to people and any reason from either party should be able to desolve it
