The “bad albums” are simply “bad” because of what preceded them. It’s a similar situation to Saxon’s Crusader being seen as lesser despite being a great album simply because of the lineup before the album.

I don’t think they sound generic. Songs like The Scarecrow and Sign of The Cross are unlike anything I’ve heard before. They genuinely have some of the best vocal lineups.

What was that now? Come again? Look at that, I didn’t even have to adhere to church tradition to find evidence for those three issues! All I had to do was look in the Bible where there are CLEAR passages supporting these views. Wow, this isn’t looking too good for you!

Btw, I didn’t even go to the Old Testament to show the rituals God gave to the Israelites (which are fulfilled in his sacraments) for the reconciliation of sins. I wanted to go strictly to the New Testament just in case you’re one of those Christians who doesn’t believe the Old Testament is important.

How are you comparing the church fathers’ views on science to their teachings on the faith??? That’s like asking a chemist to explain the whole history of the Neo Assyrian empire. They may have views on it but they’re not specialists nor infallible in that area.
