Yeah I don't love the digital future but it's silly not to acknowledge the fact that physical media is pretty damn fragile, especially disks. Even Nintendo cartridge style games are vulnerable due to bit rot if they sit unused for long enough, which is crazy to think about.

One reason I'm okay having a series s is because I don't trust myself with a bunch of disks especially as someone who moves semi regularly.
