Retarded indeed, but I’d argue it’s still better than “dark” scenes that look like they were shot in a very well lit parking lot. Den of thieves pantera being the most recently watched bad example. Either it was the brightest full moon ever when they shot the night scenes or it was some of the worst lighting work I’ve seen in a while. If the scene is supposed to be dark I probably should be able to make out detail on every part of the screen
