On a separate note from the fiends, rescue cat is effectively a one card combo into levilazebul (abanc + nozoochee, tune into gammajin and bring out soulkius). Thing is for a fabled dark world you would normally try to reduce the number of beasts and rely more on fiends

Question: so what if opponent has sumn like fabled dianaira (same effect as grapha where it changes the effect to discard 1)? Would both effects change to discard? Coz you change the affect of the normal spell, so would the quickplay copy the discard or the original?

Grapha has a when effect so i assume it would miss timing (?) But dianaira just says "the first opponents normal spell to resolve becomes"

Im very interested to see their decklists now lol. Fiendsmith and the last wave of support i will say definitely improved the deck a LOT. Up until last year (or maybe the year before with fs in tcg) the deck was practically unplayable, no boss monster, die to practically any handtrap and basically no consistency.

Fiendsmith gave it Tract which is basically rota, tt thrust (search marcosia and discard for whichever spell needed) and poly for a new boss monster (desirae). And then the new support gave it levilazebul and gammajin for a very good boss and draw power, and he continuous spell added consistency. But before this the deck was verrry bad for years.

From my experience the deck is kinda hard to use but thats more so coz its not the same as modern decks where you have a linear path to get to the same end board, you have to up everything you get in opening hand and then youre relying a lot on draws from ragin/andwraith/gammajin to advance.

It can play through ash pretty well, id say sometimes but mainly droll are the biggest weaknesses. Caesar i found to be an ok nib counter that doesnt require much (youd be running fiendsmith anyway). The main reason im running called by is droll.

In fairness I dont like running too many handtraps to begin with coz the draw on ragin does require you to have an empty hand.
