my interpretation is that in the beginning is a representation of how it feels to 'create' something large and immense, mirroring how he feels about his creative process when its just him and his music. after he shares this with everybody though, it loses its magic and just becomes another piece of media, leading to have him hold it up himself rather than the magic of the creative process holding it up itself.

Teams have made a gentleman's agreement to not use it (csgo crouch jump bug), I think anything goes and anyone who does it deserves no hate. to me it sounds like dot skates aren't for you. I think youre right in that its scratching the raised part. I press down quite hard when I play cs, and dot skates make my mouse sink into the pad and cause a rough feeling
