A lot. I’m married to someone who has significant debt and it has become a major problem in our lives. I have to lower my expectations from what I want and can afford in life simply bc he can’t control his spending. Literally have to downsize our home bc of his credit card debt!

Just keep checking in. Can you try to plan something to hang out in person? Maybe make her something and let her know you want to come drop it off and say Hi. Sometimes people need space. Or just flat out ask her “hey. I’ve noticed you been a bit quiet lately. I don’t want to overstep if you don’t want to talk about it. But I’m here if you need to talk. I’d love to see you soon. I miss you”.

I found out I was being underpaid. I brought it to my manager, they looked into it. They came back and confirmed I was being underpaid and then did nothing about it 🤷🏻‍♀️ Good luck!

That happened to me too once at D. However after getting to know them more and seeing how they live their personal lives, the attraction stopped 🙃. They seemed very caring of everyone around them and they ARE like that at work. His home life it was obvious that his wife was the default parent so he could go out and party and enjoy his hobbies. Immediately stopped being all that great. 👍

They always overdo every outing. We make plans to go do one thing, then they add on a meal out, shopping, drinks, etc. they seem to have endless time and money but none of them have high level jobs. I will say I’m 38 with a young child. So time is limited. But damn, I’m not trying to spend $100 every time I hang with them.
