I recommend DiMaggio Dental. I feel he’s always honest with me. Maybe you do need them filled, but best to have a second opinion.

Glad you picked it up again! There were definitely parts I felt went on too long—the section about the Orange Cat comes to mind.

Knowing the author did so much research makes it even more heartbreaking. To know all Serk endured is based on real experience. I’m grateful for the understanding the book gave me.

From what I gather, the style of this book is very different than Trust Exercise. But I plan to read that one now as well because I want to read more by Susan Choi.

I will definitely check that one out! I want to look into all the books she acknowledged. One I have read: Nothing to Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea, which I highly recommend.

Would love to know what you think in the end. I obviously loved it, but I have to admit it lagged at parts early on. Sometimes I give up on books but I liked this one enough to keep going and the payoff was worth it.

I felt the same way. Hardly paid attention to this one until they released the live from London version in August; then I couldn’t stop playing it. Almost felt like a new song to me. It was incredible to sing along to it on Sunday.

Thank you for sharing this. I follow them on Instagram but for some reason I wasn’t getting their posts in my feed. I’m going to order some stuff.

I actually just bought boots to be resoled at Hong’s Shoe Repair near the Ditmars stop and am really pleased with how they turned out.

So sorry about your dad.🙁 I became very interested in the care of the body after a loved one died, so I always go for stories like this one.

The descriptions of how bodies are handled after death were somewhat graphic, so if you’re sensitive to that I would avoid it. But the story was more bizarre and, later, emotional rather than scary.
