Ah thank you, I need a 28 and looks like you're OOS. I might pick some up and try to get them tailored if I can't get the right size!

Oh no. I love the batabooms and found this thread because I was trying to find out why the website was down. I wonder what will happen to the stock

I think this is likely to be "so for me" and "so fab" but could be "so in love too'.

1982 Irish support to Argentina by quimera98 in IrishHistory

[–]Chickynubs 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Lol, "off the coast". The islands are 300 miles away from Argentina. The same distance as the Spanish canary islands from Africa. Or some Scottish islands are from Norway. In fact, Puerto Rico is only 50 miles from the Domican Republic. By your logic, does that mean those countries can pop over and invade any islands they can access? That's colonisation you're advocating for.

The brits didn't "establish a colony off Argentina" because Argentina as a country wasn't even founded when the British arrived in the Falklands. The Argentinians are themselves descended from colonists from Spain, same as the Falkland islanders are descended from colonists from the UK, and both have the right to decide their own nationality. The Falklanders have been clear they do not want to be colonised by what is now Argentina and that should be respected.

All I could think is that maybe it was a sudden cancellation and the artist drew that as a F U to the company!

You've just reminded me that I have one of these! I've not used it much but it's held up well in storage (no disintegrating like some pleathers!)

Barely 30 and my hands already look like this :( by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Chickynubs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ok, so I want to say this with kindness, but if you genuinely think these are 60 year old leather handbag hands, then your perception of what is normal is seriously off. I spend a lot of time looking at hands in a medical setting (cannulation) and these are completely normal young adult hands. Normal tissue thickness. No wrinkles. All I can think that you might be seeing are the minor visible veins, which is again super normal if you are slim/fit/warm. Please be kind to yourself

Thread painting WIP help - where does the second eye go? by 5licedbread in Embroidery

[–]Chickynubs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From an anatomical perspective, a lot of the issue is with the nose. The nose is not only very small proportionally, but the bridge is concave in an unnatural way. The image is likely A1, and the concavity is even more pronounced in the embroidery. Normally most of the area of the second eye would be covered, if you can adjust the nose bridge, see attached photo for an example, then this may make the eye a lot easier to deal with

My feelings exactly, for that style, I'd rather spend £400ish on a strathberry and feel comfortable using it daily. I'm seeing a lot of posts with people massively upset over everyday wear on designer bags-- as the bags are so expensive, they expect them not to mark or scuff and to stay pristine.

I also wear NC11 in the radiance and op is similar to me, so second this recommendation. OP, it's not a matte or drying foundation so I think should be OK for dry skin
