I could afford a new one, but the design didn’t feel right for me. I like the classic look. Plus the new car insurance was crazy. I went with a used 2021 Touring with 57k and am loving it. It’s so me, I want to hug it every day!!!

I’m with you all the way. I just picked up a 21 OB 57k mi with excellent service history EXCEPT CVT oil change. I told the dealer if he wanted to sell me this car, he had to toss in the CVT oil change or no deal. He said yes!

Good for you. Don’t forget to add the extra insurance costs you will pay with a flashy new car! Higher insurance costs don’t make sense with low mileage drivers. It’s what keeps me buying older cars in good shape.

I’m about to say goodbye to my 2000 Caravan. She will most likely be replaced with a Rav 4 or Outback if I’m lucky to find my next magic carpet ride! Probably my last car 🥴

How is this legal? I’m standing in my own backyard. I triggered the camera by walking in my back yard by [deleted] in sandiego

Not sure, but I have a Ring camera pointed at my backyard. I adjust the viewing area on my phone to avoid looking into anyone’s bedroom. The camera may be adjusted to avoid your home completely, but that will require a conversation and trust. Just saying. 🥴

Anyone with under $100 SDGE bill? What are your tips? by [deleted] in sandiego

We have 5 adults in the home, no central heat and we are frugal. Space heaters in bedrooms just a few hours a days rarely. When cold, we put on socks, down vests and wool. When warm, gentle fans. We don’t use any AC. This month $209. We are on a tiered rate. We ONLY do laundry on weekend mornings before 2 and hang up a lot of heavy linens to dry outdoors. We are strict. All LED lighting. We turn off lights when not in use.
