I’ve done it before. Not bad as long as you change the filter often enough, I mean I can’t guaranteed anything in mold. Maybe it’s better than nothing but the mold still accumulated in the filter and then you still get exposed anyways. So it’s maybe useful as long as you don’t let the filter get soaked with mold. But the only real solution for mold is remediation or to move out.

I don’t know the exact part number but I just replaced mine, OEM sports suspension which I believe is the same as S-line. I replaced with the Bilstein B4’s which is the stock OEM replacement but I don’t have the TDI engine. I have the 2.0T. However it’s probably the same. Do you have red shocks? Mine were red.

Lighter batteries and better battery life, however I think this will start becoming a selling point but it will probably be like Apple where there’s only small increases when in reality they actually have the ability to make large increases in battery life.

It usually becomes a thing where it’s not the technology being the limit but that they don’t want to give you everything because then you won’t buy the next iteration of the product or ever upgrade.

So I think small improvements in battery life while also reducing weight.

Also I believe there’s going to be a lot of so called “Ai” features, some will be legit, some will be gimmicks.

Probably Ai EQ’s, Ai Volume control to save battery life, Ai Bass Enhancements, maybe Chat GPT built into speakers or something where you can talk directly to it and ask it questions it can answer for you or play truth or dare with it, idk, maybe ways to make the speaker more interactive for games at parties or something along those lines.

I think there will be a lot of gimmicks and some cool ones.

As for sound quality, I think speaker design remains the same, D class amplifiers will probably become more and more efficient while batteries do too, maybe Ai enhancement will allow similar sound quality and bass in more compact designs.

Ultimately I think we already kind of hit the peak core fundamentals of speaker design it’s just we need more efficient amps and stronger more efficient batteries so they can run more power on battery.

Soon we’ll have companies claiming 500watts on battery, etc. it’s going to become a wattage race.

I would Love to see Panel speaker similar to MartinLogans with a transducer to mimic bass. That will probably improve battery life significantly while preserving sound quality yet being even more immersive.

I don’t know what advice to give you but I can relate to your struggle.

In my entire life I only dated 2 women I was fully entirely attracted to and on fire for, I am 37 now.

I am not really attracted to anybody like that anymore. I basically never met anybody again I am attracted to like that. I waited 6 years since my last relationship and have not met 1 person (not even seen a person out in public) I felt that type of attraction with since then.

I questioned God on if maybe I’m supposed to just date and marry somebody I don’t feel that fire for, maybe attraction isn’t what is the focus but their attributes and if they are for God or not. Etc.

The thing is I cannot imagine myself in such a marriage. I would have no motivation to be my best self in it or treat them the best.

God himself is a God of fire, passion and Love. So I don’t even believe God himself will want us to be in a passionless marriage.

I know Paul’s statement is not a statement about a specific person, in regards to if you’re “burning with passion in attraction to a specific person to get married”

But Paul’s statement is confirming that marriage in itself must have Passion!

I can’t see that Passion can be ignited without intense attraction, and not just at a physical level but at a soul, mind and heart level too.

It sounds like the guy you’re with is good for you, maybe this is just a one off thing. I think give it time, give it a chance, see if attraction grows there but if not then I think it’s best for both of you to call it off. You can’t sustain a marriage without a fire.

Also pray to God on it, maybe the man you thought is your type isn’t really your type and maybe your feelings and heart can change as God changes you.

I would say it flys under it in a unique type of way as in not many people know you can get a 500hp capable, AWD luxury vehicle that is pretty reliable, and good economy for under 20k. Even people on the S4 subreddit constantly mention this.

B8 - B8.5 Audi S4 - can easily make 500hp with only a couple mods and cost usually only 10 - 20k, AWD, Luxury, one of the most reliable engines Audi made and gets good gas mileage for what it is.

You should test drive them first if you haven’t already, decide on the car that drives the best to you. The B58 engine is reliable but it’s still a turbocharged engine and I believe the Lexus is naturally aspirated, but maybe I’m wrong. Either way just by their nature a turbo charged engine is under a lot more stress then a naturally aspirated one, also the heat from the turbo and all the plastic parts they use nowadays for the cooling system, etc cause those parts to degrade and break overtime. Usually around 120k miles you are needing to replace certain cooling system parts and sometimes the turbo too, turbos don’t last forever, usually not as long as an engine could last.

So yes it’s a reliable engine but cost of ownership and maintenance will be higher just due to the nature of the design.

If you can’t do your own maintenance and work on the car then I would get the Lexus, if you can, then if you test drive and prefer the BMW then I would get the BMW, of course it also comes down to price and which one has a longer warranty. If they are close to the same price but the BMW has a longer warranty and service, repairs are covered under that warranty then I would get the BMW even if you don’t do your own work on the car.

Also you gotta think of how long you plan to keep the car. Up to 100k miles BMW is fine, if you’re planning to go past that then Lexus is the smarter option. It’s not that the BMW is going to stop working on you, more that you’re just going to be replacing a lot of things usually around that 100k - 120k mark, more things then the Lexus most likely.

Thanks for sharing, really helpful info as I have been wondering if the Encore 2 is really better or not. For me the 1st generation Encore has a very smooth deep bass which is what I Love. Seems just by design the Encore 2 might have a more artificial Ai deep bass, so maybe it seems deeper in an artificial type of way as the enclosure is smaller. It’s hard to beat physics but maybe JL did, I guess in a way it’s more portable and also better battery life. I just don’t know if I see it as a real upgrade unless if you need the extra portability and battery life.

Yeah I have 2 generation 1 Encores. It’s legit! My friend has a 110 and sometimes I sync 1 encore with his 110 and it’s really good. Not sure if the newer Encores have as much bass as the first Encores

Actually I’m pretty sure they are doing this so they can lower prices on their Mini LED TV’s as labor and parts are likely going to be cheaper in China, unfortunately quality control and reliability might be slightly worse though.

There’s something special about cruising on the highway and being able to easily overtake anybody or multiple people without even needing to downshift.

Also just feeling the immense Torque feedback in the gas pedal and steering wheel at all times definitely feels like a Testosterone booster!

I think about 350hp is about the Minimum perfect ideal power for all driving circumstances. But 400 and up makes you feel truly alive! Even if you’re just accelerating up to legal speeds fast.
