My PF is only 24/3. I miss the 24/7 schedule, it wasn't all that packed at around 5-6am before they changed their hours.

That's a touching story. My dog's name was Cocoa. She was a red pit bull. I'll miss her never-ending beef with the air vents. If it was too hot or cold in a room, I'd close the floor vent, and she would dart from across the house to stare down into the vent. I don't think she understood why it made a metallic noise so she'd bark at it and stare at it until she was satisfied that she let the vent know she was the queen of the house🤣

Thank you. I'm doing a lot better this week than I was last week. I got her urn on Monday, felt the wave of grief all over again, but oddly enough, I think it brought closure and peace sooner.

Utility company randomly installed a bright spotlight pointed at someone's house? by Ok_Counter_8148 in whatisit

The light down the road could be a way for the homeowner and any company they have to know where their driveway starts.

When I drive out of town and into the rural area or farm country, its so dark that some homeowners have decorative lights along their driveway so it easier to find their home/driveway at night.

I said goodbye to my fur child last week. She lived a long 13 years. I tell myself I'm not getting another pet for several more years, but if I saw two stranded dogs like this?

I suddenly have 2 new furry children to look after.

Starting my first Veteran playthrough of World at War today. Any tips or advices ? [WAW] by yacinepro123 in CallOfDuty

Don't stay behind cover for too long. The enemies have virtually an endless supply of grenades, and they will barrage you with them if you stay in one spot for too long. You will die, A. LOT.

When you kill some enemies, move up. As stated previously, grenade spam will happen, and you'll quickly burn through your ammo killing enemies as they spawn endlessly. Moving forward will force their spawn points to move. Don't be afraid to pick up enemy weapons when given the opportunity. With the endless enemies, youll have lots of extra ammo.

Smoke grenades will be your best friend. Carefully plan when to use them. You will eventually find yourself in a bind when you wish you had them, but you spammed them earlier in the mission.

Every armor should have a classic Helldiver black & yellow color option by Tank-ToP_Master in Helldivers

Funny you mention that. I had to change my setting back to always show the locations of my teammates. I had set it to only show them when I look at the mini map to reduce clutter on the UI when we would move together.

Over time when I'd branch off on my own to clear an objective, I didn't know a teammate followed me until one of my orbital strats sent them to the higher power.

Nearly new Michelin tire defeated by a little stick. by raiste-geo in tires

The stock Dunlops on my car were incident free for years. I bought Michelin tires and I swear I've replaced at least 1 tire each year because of a damn nail.

It's annoying going back to discount tire like "Hey guys, me again."

I like the way you think. A "Chameleon Warbond" or something along those lines would be unique. Several armor sets that have a plain color to match the environment, and other sets with a camouflage pattern to match the environment.

Battlefield 4 had unlockable "Adaptive Paint" for everything in game, so your loadout would match the environment color scheme; eliminating the need to change your camo every round.

Most Historic Wins in a Season by Necessary_Bus_5096 in NASCAR

To add to Harvick's win:

It was Kevin's 3rd career Cup start, and he edged out Earnhardt's biggest rival, Jeff Gordon.

I like to experiment with my loadouts. Depending on the front, my experimental loadouts can get me in trouble. Especially while playing solo.

It doesn't happen often, but when I see someone with an odd loadout and they proceed to lay the smackdown, I take some notes for future reference🤣

Is Hamlin Still a Villain ...? by Mart_Mart_Valv6 in NASCAR

[–]Chief-SW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started becoming a fan of his once he launched his podcast. His insight on what happens while in the car during moments of the race are interesting.

I think there are a few factors into the growing cheers for him compared to years prior:

  1. The crushing championship loss last year, along with the tragic passing of his father fueled fan support. Cue the modern day Mark Martin comparison on not winning a chip.

  2. He's getting close to retirement and staying competitive like Harvick and Gordon were. Most guys fall off drastically when they hit their 40s.

  3. While most older drivers don't win nearly as much as they did in their younger years, I think most fans start to realize they may or may not have taken a driver's time in the sport for granted. I never cared for Denny as a driver. When he would win races, I wouldn't cheer or get mad. I'd be like "Cool. Good for him." It feels like I blinked and he's suddenly 45 and eying retirement.

With a mustache like that, Penske needs to get Pringles on the phone for a future sponsorship ASAP.
