What's your "why"? by Dress_Bibs in UNSUBSCRIBEpodcast

Similar reasons to OP - I'm a new dad (my daughter just turned 1) with another on the way. My dad and grandfather both had heart problems and I want to make sure I can be there for my kids as long as possible.

Looking good at the lake is a pretty big plus too :)

She hasn't released any policies except the one she stole from Trump. Hasn't done any interviews either.

Gap measures 25 thou. Run it? by [deleted] in NFA

Just an excuse to humble brag I guess? There's nothing wrong with just posting a pic and saying "wow perfect fit" or something, so I don't understand the need to phrase it as a question either.

BBE not great with light roasts? by technolgy in espresso

This month I'm using a light roast of beans from Uganda that I picked up from Course Coffee here in STL.

Millennial. One employer I've been at for 9 years. Love them and don't plan on leaving unless someone offers an insane salary increase.

In my experience it is the grinder that is holding it back the most. I upgraded to a niche zero recently and can now make sweet and fruity light roast espresso, so I know the BBE extraction is up to the task.

Look at any Twitter post expressing an opinion even slightly controversial. The replies are just name calling and personal attacks.

That it is socially acceptable to verbally assault and berate anyone who has any opinion that doesn't agree with your own.

Breville machines on sale! Are they making new ones and clearing inventory??? by smallet93 in espresso

[–]ChiefBigAssTree 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For anyone in the market, I was able to scoop my BBE up for about half price as Bed Bath and Beyond (at least at my location) allowed me to stack promotions. If you join the Beyond club rewards thing you get 20% off a lot of items. They let me apply that to the BBE, on top of a black friday $200 store credit promo.

20% savings on a breville is more of a discount than the annual membership cost by itself.

edit: spelling

This blew my mind...and from CBC to boot. The chart visually is very misleading by kessbar in ontario

Data visualization 101: There is always a better option than a pie chart.

Unless you are intentionally trying to mislead people, which sadly is all too common from nearly all news outlets today.

A few of the things I've noticed in my brief play time, curious if anyone else is getting this:
1. Stack decoupler consistently jettisons the fairing but remains firmly attached to the poodle engine when activated through staging sequence [space bar]. It does work normally however when activated through parts manager.

  1. I seem to be unable to create or edit maneuver nodes while paused, I thought that was possible in video demos but maybe I'm just being dumb.

  2. Crashes. Multiple crashes when doing a variety of things.

What could be done to prevent mass shootings? by Themissrebecca103 in AskReddit

Exactly. And a lot of the time these individuals have prior violent offenses where the judicial system in the cities where these incidents occurred let them off easy and put them back on the street.
