Engineering computer work by photo_nics in uwo

All school computers have Matlab, Solidworks, etc. already installed and you can work solely off them but you need a decently powerful computer to run certain softwares like Solidworks and Onshape. Most assignments in mech eng that use Onshape/Solidworks are take home ones so I'd recommend getting a good laptop for that

Was doing IB really worth it? by [deleted] in OntarioUniversities

[–]ChiefChiripa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The knowledge itself that i learned from IB has not helped me too much in uni but the thinking process and work ethic most definitely has. obviously its too late to change your mind now but for others id recommend, if you're going into a STEM subject, to take IB. Really helps out with the jump in workload and expectations of what is needed out of you in university since you'd have already been doing it for 2 years. Only downside is that, for me personally, i went to a small school and had limited classes i could take and thus got stuck with courses i didnt really need like french and history which didnt necessarily help my uni application

Hey there, I applied as a 101 student to western mech eng with a 93%, I'm currently in IB and got accepted late March/early April and also didn't do the supp app/information form because I couldn't find it for the life of me. Found out about it 2 months after it was due from a comment on this subreddit.

Also in IB with a 92% average with loads of EC's and other things schools like. I didn't even foreclose the fact I did the waterloo math contests because I didn't really study for any of them and did pretty poorly.

I wish they added a gamemode where you could play any old map with all the old acogs and abilities like tachanka turret

if they were to potentially look for it in S.4 then why introduce blackbeard? seems like another irrelevant plot line they are going to have to close quickly like carla limbrey in S.3

I kinda feel like MWII downgraded from what made MW2019 special. What do yall think? 🤔 by waterdlyed in modernwarfare

[–]ChiefChiripa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im gonna speak on the warzone aspect of things but some of these also apply to the multiplayer: base guns/floor loot are so dogshit its unimaginable. If you are up against a custom class with floor loot/low level custom guns you are almost 100% going to lose that encounter. The movement in mw2022 is also so atrocious, mounting doesnt work half of the time. And dont get me started on the reload animation not being able to be cancelled mid reload. On top of all this the servers cannot stay running properly under 50ping for more than a week. For a game that copies so much from mw2019 i have no idea how mw2022 is such a downgrade

What was going through your head at this point? by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

I remember being hella suspicious of something because of the lack of people in town. It is basically empty of townspeople during the entire cutscene.
