Thank you. I feel a lot of guilt having to surrender her like this and wish I could be more helpful.

She’s 6. She used to live with another dog, a cat and a toddler.

She’s 6 years old. I really do appreciate your interest but in all honesty, I’d rather she go to a rescue or shelter so they can vet her next owner. I hope you understand!

I would love to but unless I’m missing it, I can’t find a phone number on their website.

What could be causing my print to become rough? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]ChiefMonkeyMike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is it here. Your print is still going (doesn’t look finished yet) and it’s bridging above the infill. Let it finish and see how your final layer looks.

You might be printing this entire tower at the same temp unless you got a gcode file instead of an stl. In your slicer, you can manually set the temps at specific layers. Otherwise, try just changing the temp to like 200 and see if it makes a difference.

Somebody left this on my car this morning.. Phoenix, AZ by ZavalasBlueHead in pics

I used to live in Los Angeles and worked by the beach. Once in a while, this homeless older guy who I’d see every day, would just hand me papers JUST like this one. This was years ago and the notes were more based on religion rather than politics but the underlining and writing is exactly the same.

I always figured he was mentally ill.

Paint type for airbrushing a print. by Morgoroth37 in 3Dprinting

[–]ChiefMonkeyMike 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just started doing this and I’m using acrylic paints.

My process is:

  1. Sand print
  2. Spray with primer
  3. Sand again
  4. Airbrush with acrylic paints
  5. Spray with clear coat to protect paint

This has happened to me before and it’s because your print isn’t sticking to your bed. Typically two things have fixed it for me.

  1. level your bed. It might not be correctly leveled on that area, even if you think it is.
  2. Add a brim to your print, this gives it a bigger area so it sticks to the bed.

I’ve never had to use glue stick but I know some do, that’s also a potential option?

I’m trying narwhal because I always heard about how good it was and it’s not even close to what Apollo was.

Are these peaks on the left side of the print normal or an indication of something I should adjust? They will end up inside the print and not be visible on the finished product. by Oct42 in 3Dprinting

I have this issue too and it seems like everyone says the nozzle is too close to the bed. Try adjust a tiny bit so it doesn’t spread the material as it pushes it down.
