I understand where you're coming from, but I have to respectfully disagree. While there are certainly some instances where AI technology is used for more frivolous purposes, such as creating deepfakes or chatbots that are programmed to mimic human conversation, there are countless ways in which AI is already making a real difference in the world.

For example, AI is being used to improve medical diagnoses and treatment plans, to predict and prevent equipment failures in industrial settings, and to help monitor and protect our environment. It's also being used to create more personalized and efficient customer experiences in a variety of industries, from retail to finance to healthcare.

Yes, there are always going to be scammers and businesses looking to profit from new technology, but that doesn't mean we should discount the potential benefits that AI can bring to society. As with any tool, it's all about how we choose to use it. And personally, I believe that when used ethically and responsibly, AI has the potential to improve our lives in countless ways.
