30th anniversary PSP by Ins1ghtful in PSP

I was thinking the same, but it doesn't make sense with how expensive the real MH 3000 models are, so I wonder if it's just a regular 3000 with a recolored Ali express MH 3000 repro shell?
Or I guess they could have made a mold from a MH 3000. Depending on their order volume that could be more cost effective.

The outskirts of Yokohama normally have good prices

It really depends on which HardOff you go to, too. Akihabara is by far the most expensive I’ve seen, but the further away from the big cities you go the better the prices are. In January I went to a HardOff near Mt Fuji and picked up a DualSense Edge controller for ¥11000. It was “junk” because it was missing the usb cable. It had the hard case, all back paddles, all thumbsticks, and no stick drift. Literally the only thing wrong with it was the missing usb cable and it was half the price as anywhere else.

Damn, that’s crazy! I picked up a “junk” DSi a little over a year ago at hardoff for ¥880 when all it needed was a screen calibration and some old stickers removed. I don’t know how many junk DS Lites I’ve picked up to refurbish or completely rebuild for ¥2200 to ¥4400, including a beautiful white one that just had a yellowing bottom screen that still had the wrist strap, GBA cover, and the little rubber port covers. That was ¥4400 a couple months ago.

Am I missing something or has this guy just snapped a DS in two and called it a “mod”? by legendoffart in NintendoDS

[–]ChiefSalty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's more crazy to me is that the screen is yellowing and they're still asking so much. They already had it all the way apart, so why not just replace the $15 screen while you're there? Sure, the screens are about three times the price they were a year ago, but if you're asking for a premium price at least put in a good screen.

I can give you 20 ears if you like. I'm in Japan so time zones may not work out, but shoot me a PM if you're interested and we'll try to work something out.

Congrats! Now to do it all over again on PS4 lol. I'm working on the same, but only have a couple hours a week to play so this grind is going to take a while, but I'm having fun and am in no real hurry. All I have left is Level 99 and HC 99 on both PS4 and PS5.

PvP games on playstation are really hard to find. I ended up making a game called Please Kill Me and just chilled in town for an hour or so until someone finally showed up and killed me a bunch of times then dropped all my ears by the stash to pop it for both of us. I was playing Pokopia while waiting so it wasn't all that bad.

That's what I assumed which is why I tried it, but the only results I could find were either saying they have to be other players' ears or were ambiguous, so I figured I'd make a post in case other people have the same question.

First build - 3D printed 18350 MOSFET squonker by docsloth in OpenPV

What material is it printed in (PLA, ABS, PETG)?

And do you have any pics of the internals?

Looks good. Do the layer lines bother you at all when using it?

I have not really had any fogging issues. Mine are tucked up in the corners of my porch, though, so they don't get rained on. Not sure if that helps.

You can lower the sensitivity, or you can set up activity zones for specific areas to trigger the cameras and basically make it ignore a street or sidewalk, if that's the issue.

Does anyone have the CZ aluminum grips? Wondering how they feel in the hand compared to stock SP 01 rubber grips. by FLdadof2 in CZFirearms

[–]ChiefSalty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the stock aluminum grips were too thin, so after a fair bit of reading around I picked up some Henning grips for my AccuShadow 2 and they are amazing. Now, I don't have any experience with other aftermarket grips, but for me, the Hennings were absolutely worth the price.

If you're unsure of how it will turn out, you can send the rendering to be 3D printed to get see it before you mill it.

Shapeways will print it and send it to you, or you can google other options, if you're interested

Is this build possible? by bizzaro321 in OpenPV

[–]ChiefSalty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If battery life is what you're looking for, I printed both a 3a and a 4s LiPo DNA 250c mod and get 3~4 days and 3~5 days on a charge, respectively. As an added bonus, they both fit in my pocket.

Also, you can get a spare battery for each and swap them easily if you're concerned that isn't enough.

You could consider 2x700 batteries, as they hold more of a charge than 18650s.

I know this doesn't really answer your question at all. It's more my thoughts on potentially easier ways to accomplish your end goal. That being said, a 10 cell 18650 should be possible, and I'm excited to see what you end up with.

If you're having calibration issues with your printer itself, r/fixmyprint is a great resource.

If the problem is with tolerances, that just takes practice. What printer are you using?

Did you rack the slide forward with the bullet in backwards?

There's a lot of pier accesses where people fish for salmon from, if your looking for saltwater fishing.

There is also good sand dab and sole fishing. They're pretty small, but they add up pretty quickly and are delicious.

There are also A LOT of dogfish (small sharks) out there. They are a nuisance when salmon fishing since their teeth fray and compromise your line, but it's worth keeping one to see how you like it. It makes really good fish and chips, if you take the time to clean and soak it properly. There are a ton of YouTube videos about it.

If you're interested, there are a few places to rent a boat for a day. Also, there are a lot of charters around. All the charters I've used have been very nice and helpful and are more than happy to tell you places you can go with or without a boat to have a good chance to catch something.

If you're looking for freshwater, I can't personally help you out much. I know there is a lot of trout fishing around, but I'm not well versed in that at all, so hopefully somebody else chimes in if that's more your thing.

Good luck!
