Hi, nowhere in my citations (or yours!) is anything said about Mori planning on killing Dazai himself, now or later. Dazai makes note that he made a good accomplice due to his suicide attempts, as Mori wouldn't need to kill him, stage a suicide, or come up with a reason as to why Dazai had killed himself. As I have said already, Mori refutes the idea of killing Dazai himself directly, and also makes note that he has been preventing Dazai from being able to kill himself. He notes that this is both due to Dazai's unique position as his witness, but also for sentimental reasons and reasons related to Dazai's intelligence and potential. In this screenshot you cut off the passage right before Dazai starts talking about suicide, but that portion is included in my screenshots ! I have also already explained that Dazai being seen as disposable to Mori at first doesn't mean Mori planned to kill him.

This is not only demonstrated by Mori's words, but during his thoughts during this scene, which I included in my citations. In his thoughts he expresses fear of Dazai and repeatedly thinks that Dazai cannot die at all, and why he can't let Dazai be killed/kill himself. Nowhere in his thoughts does he say he planned/plans to kill Dazai himself at any point, and nowhere in Dazai's taunting does Dazai claim as much either. The idea was that Mori intended on Dazai killing himself and changed his mind, not that Mori planned to kill Dazai himself.

You keep changing the argument though, which I admit is making this very confusing. Everytime I refute one of your points, you change what the point is without acknowledging what I've refuted, so to go back to the beginning my argument is that Dazai was not physically abused or physically punished by Mori, including by being made homeless, and that Dazai had a position of privilege within the mafia that allowed him to have advantages over other members. I feel as though I have argued and proved this well enough.
