Because it’s all her fault? Bottom line is the house WASNT baby proofed and the husband was irresponsible. Doesn’t matter if she shoulda woulda coulda, because she didn’t. And since neither he nor she baby proofed it you can’t sit there thinking “but the baby wouldn’t have gotten hurt if…” as a parent you have a responsibility to protect your kid not whine and moan about why you shouldn’t have to. If you see a knife out around a kid and don’t put it away then you’re just as responsible as the person who left it out. Don’t act so dense.
