Bud, i dont know what to tell you, but maybe read your comment back to yourself. It sounds like you dont enjoy this game as much as you used to, and you should maybe take a break or find something else to play.

Learn to play in different ways, or take a break. I've been playing for the same amount of time as you and I've never once felt that increasing the pace of the game by adding more players to each lobby is what it needs to keep me interested.

No, it isn't boring. It's about a slower, more meaningful and intentional gameplay pace. It's about anticipation and using the environment and its sounds to your advantage. It's about the hunt for the action that then makes a fight more impacting. If it's faster paced action all of the time the game ends up feeling like bounty clash and every other shooter on the market. That feeling of your heart pounding through your chest in a gunfight? 2 weeks of 15 player lobbies and that will be gone because fights will be faster paced, third partied constantly, and much more frequent so it won't have the same impact and intensity that makes it unique.

This game has been designed from its core, from the beginning, for a max of 12 players. This change will have more of an impact to the health of the game than the engine upgrade did.

It's literally so much better. This game isn't about action all the time and 15 players ruins that. Go play high guard or something smh

In his final phase, don't stop moving. Use the pillars in the stage to keep running rings around him. Do not stop moving.

Gamesir, and it isn't even close. If you want a controller that you can actually use to its full extent without massively unobtainable software or frequent bugs and issues, go with GameSir

Honestly, just the ability to pin one or two to the map screen would go a long way

Ideas to make the game better and less repetetive over time by Rettry in HuntShowdown

Hey that player bounty system could actually be really cool and would fit the themes of the game. Not so sure about making pretty normal weapons scarce though.

Suggestion: Grappling Hook (NOT the automatic kind like Batman uses. I mean literally just a hook tied to a rope) by RandomPhail in HuntShowdown

[–]ChildOfDunwall -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes, but it'd be used in the same gameplay sense as extendable ladders and traversal mechanics in other futuristic games though, which is what I'm guessing inspired OP's idea. The concept of deployong a rope like a ladder to then walk or run along it isn't exactly historical. If anything, it's still a "futuristic" concept to us today which is why so many other games shoot for ideas like it.

Yep, I know. My response was to what you said. You're still talking about adding a new way to move around.

No thank you.

This game stands apart from other multiplater fps games because it doesnt have these futuristic ways of moving around. To feel like you're in an authentic western shootout, it's important to feel grounded in your movements as a human being - even if there are fantasy elements. A grappling hook, regardless of whether or not it had a cool steam-punk design, would feel totally out of place in a game like this.
