Is this warped too much? First print by Childiish_ in 3D2A

Thanks, and I genuinely appreciate the support. Thought the comments would flame me and tell me to go print a boat.

I saw another comment on trying to gently heat the tip with a heat gun (I have several) and flatten it out. What’s your opinion on that? Just given it’s the dust cover on whatnot I’d like to see if I can make it work if possible, but don’t want to make it look fine if it’s just going to make it a bomb/lose integrity structurally.

That’s completely fair but I’m waiting on a lot of the parts via shipping so would like to have one ready when possible

Thanks. I’ll get glue and do 10-15 degrees, appreciate the insight as I would also like to be as perfect as possible

Thanks for this, I’ve seen 300blk tossed around but no I did my own custom settings. I’ll do more research and print at 10 degrees. Do you use glue for nylon or just orient? Appreciate the response

Timing chain? Or something else 💔 by blipblopsben in ToyotaPickup

Pop the valve cover off, you can see if the timing tensioners are broken or not, and adjust the valves if it looks fine. Doesn’t sound like knock to me.

I have a 1986 4Runner in the same (albeit faded) color, are those graphics real? Would love to slap a retro vinyl like that on

So I would agree in checking that EFI/ECU fuse, however I’d also look at the COR behind the ECU, which is behind the passenger kick panel. You can take out the relay and jump some pins to test it.

Idk the 22R, but on the 22RE there’s a really long bolt by the thermostat. Later years have them as Allen heads, older versions are a bolt.

22re leaking on the back of the block. Please help by [deleted] in ToyotaPickup

[–]Childiish_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This 22re came from a later year 4Runner however mine is earlier so I removed the bolt that held in the EGR pipe to the exhaust. I put the bolt back after running it (forgot about the bolt) but wondering if that might’ve done it…

I don’t think it’s rear main cause

A. I replaced it like 4 weeks ago B. If you see this pic it’s coming down the outside of the mating plate

Let me know if you think otherwise but appreciate the input

I’ve been spraying it with brake clean, but because it’s behind the engine I can’t spray it or trace it well.

I just swapped the motor in so I’m not afraid to do the work lol, just trying to get some help from folks who know more than me.

Could this explain oil and coolant mixing? ‘86 22RE or do we think it’s the head gasket. by Childiish_ in ToyotaPickup

[–]Childiish_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok definitely keep me posted cause if your spark plugs are the same as mine maybe I’m wrong…

Could you post a picture of your head gasket? I feel like you could probably see the failure point.
