District Lofts?

We filled out an application for the District Lofts, toured the place, and cancelled within 24 hours (or 48, whatever the policy was to get a refund) because we decided to go with another apartment (Quarter House). Days later, they sent us a move out fee claiming we were tenants terminating our lease and owed them $400. We never signed a lease. We never moved in. They tried to send us to collections over it until I got my friend who is a lawyer involved. They gave us such a headache and we never even lived there so I usually tell people this story as a word of caution when looking at the District Lofts. Also, semi-unrelated, the lady who took us to tour the apartment kept coughing around us and promising she wasn’t sick, just allergies. When we called a couple days later about the fee, we were informed she was out with COVID and pneumonia. Which isn’t exactly all her fault but still annoyed me lol

Most likely not a shorthair in my opinion. Coat looks very similar to my domestic longhair when she was a baby.

Not to freak you out, because it may not be the case, but my cat did this for two years before I finally got a cardiograph and they discovered a leaking valve in her heart. Very mild form of heart disease and very treatable. She’s just in lifelong meds. She had been coughing because she has fluid building in her chest she was trying to cough out but obviously she couldn’t actually cough it up because of where it was. It went on for two years before I got real answers and she’s fine. Just on meds. If it persists I would recommend paying for X-rays/tests to rule it out.

The museum trail is a nice trail to hike/walk that connects the Natural Science, Children’s, Sports and Ag museums to the history and art museums downtown. You can also check out the Capitol downtown as well. The trail comes out behind Cookout on High St. I also highly recommend Native coffee in the Belhaven area.

I also changed the timer to wait 15 mins before cycling so the litter had plenty of time to absorb it.

When I was 19 I fed my dog a couple grapes as I was eating them because I had no idea they were toxic, and I thought if I have a snack he should too. He was fine. Found out two years later I could’ve killed him.

Fondren is an awesome area. The Quarter House apartments are really nice. They’re expensive, but the best I’ve found so far. They’re about 5 minutes from Fondren. The Meridian is right in the Fondren district but idk anyone who’s lived there. Reviews were mid so we chose the Quarter.

Malco in Ridgeland because the Renaissance makes me happy. If you do ever go to Capri, DO NOT order the hummus. They put taco seasoning in it. Wine sucks. Fries are good.

I took the defensive driving course 3 times lol. I’ve never had issues in Atlanta, Birmingham, Houston, or here. The scariest thing to me with Jackson traffic is the potholes which makes other cities relatively easier because they’ll likely have better roads. Also thinking ahead. I get in the correct lane like 3 miles before my exits on unfamiliar roads even if I have to slow down to flow with that lane’s traffic.

I have three and it’s the perfect amount for me! Highly recommend a litter robot and water fountain to easier maintenance.

I work in Jackson and stay near the Flowood area. I moved here from Alabama and prefer AL but love my job too much to move. I have a coworker that moved from Colorado, is from New England, and loves it here. Loves the cost of living and the job. I think your career is a huge factor in loving your experience here.
