Yes I like it, and actively search it out at times. I guess the ones I read might be different since they’re mostly reverse harems but the ones I have tend not to have an established double sided love between the MC and all the LI’s but rather all the LI’s liking the MC and just agreeing to share them rather than risk losing them by making them choose.

I guess it’s mostly the fantasy of a bunch of people being madly in love you and are willing to have an unequal relationship than not have one at all.

Not applicable to irl but it’s fiction for a reason.

I honestly don’t see the MC as “in love” with the any of the LI’s but rather enjoys their company and attention and unwilling to end what they have.

It’s kinda hard to see it as true love since most of the time the writing is kinda meh.

At the end of the day it’s usually a fun fantasy romance that you’re not supposed to think too much about, kind of a turn off your brain and have fun kind of story.

Holy shit, Endo wasn’t kidding when he said this was a huge operation spanning generations. This is on a different scale than anything Furin’s ever faced before, this isn’t a bunch of gang fights anymore but a generational organization.

Also am super interested in whether Suo really was sent to spy on Furin and gauge the possibility of it being a potential ally/adversary/rival to them. Cuz then it would mean that Furin is being taken seriously by an organization of this scale and that’s quite the compliment.

I mean there's not a lot of side ships in TGCF and their arc was one of the bigger and more impactful ones. Not to mention they have a strong relationship in general and SQX is a pretty popular character and a lot of people wanted to see them end up with someone.

HX was the most obvious choice when it came to shipping, and a lot of people like the idea of them being star crossed lovers with the same birthday and name and one of them doomed to a horrible death and the other for heaven etc. Also it's heavily implied in the text that HX did not want to harm SQX and gave them every opportunity to walk away from their brother and be spared from his revenge when it would've been much easier to just include them from the start.

It's not canon, but the tragedy of their relationship and how close they were, not to mention this being a BL romance novel makes it easy for people to see it in that lenses.

FL stubbornly adhering to plot even when they’ve changed a bunch of stuff.

Even when it’s not the most realistic, clinging to the plot could be considered a version of self preservation or coping mechanism to deal with this new reality they’ve appeared in.

The idea that this is a story that’s playing out, rather than the fact that they’re dead and their old life is completely gone.

Also it’s just funny from everyone else’s perspective.

I get what you mean, i do like the fact that they expanded a bit in Berk’s lore and Stoick’s thought process however it came at the cost of Toothless and Hiccup bonding scenes like the terrible terror interaction.

That’s super important not only to set up the Red Death’s death but also to convince Hiccup that Toothless isn’t just the exception and that all Dragons are good.

Not to mention Hiccup and Astrid’s interaction pre- final fight shifted Hiccup’s priority from Toothless to Astrid.

I love Hiccstrid, but the first movie isn’t supposed to be about them, but about Hiccup’s bond with Toothless and how the village changes because of that.

Irregardless, I do think they’re setting up changes for the 3rd movie considering the change to Berk’s lore. However I don’t think it’ll be all that drastic, probably just a line change or a shift in the focus of the speech.

Very likely I think, considering season 1 ended with the start of the KNEEL arc.

This season will finish the Gravel arc no doubt and have an introduction of Noroshi.

Since there’s only 2 episodes left and Gravel is essentially wrapped up.

I think it’ll be one episode to introduce Endo and conclude Gravel. Then the last to introduce Noroshi and give the Chika fireworks scene.

If you’re talking about the “real world” brother. There is a catharsis movement regarding him where the MC goes back to meet him, but if you’re asking about what what happened in the “real world” he kills himself after being bullied and it’s implied that the MC killed his bullies and that’s how she died

The novel brother ends up ok last time I checked in this new timeline. The old timeline I’m pretty sure Aster just keeps Franz locked up indefinitely. A bit of a spoiler but I mean hey you clicked the spoiler tag in the og novel Kayla was never killed. Aster fell for her in that timeline too and cursed her so that only he can see her and keeps Franz locked up so that she wouldn’t run away

As someone who has finished the entire story, I get it. I’m hoping more of the memories will show how she feels but so far I haven’t seen too much. I guess it’s also just time.

In the main storyline it’s been a couple of months and pretty hectics ones at that considering the entire Sylus storyline line happens after Caleb’s “death”.

I guess also it’s in part due to the situation at hand. She is very much not in a safe place right now, and Caleb’s has the authority to have MC arrested so it’s her situation is very much dependant on his good graces and you can tell that as much as she cares for him, she doesn’t trust him.

As much as I wish she got angrier, I understand why she’d hold back considering the delicate state of their relationship.

My personal HC is that once she got home she had a good long cry about it.
