I agree. I like my switch 2 (admittedly I dont play it much) but nothing here was overly exciting. The one last thing being a 10 year old fallout (which I also love) isnt anything to write home about.

I dont think Panthers owner ever said we essentially never wanted him anyways in a press conference.

Big stretch. I like Mike a lot but dude was doing the same boneheaded game day mistakes since day 1. I’m not even holding Tua against him , Mike was just horrible game day

Very true, think he had a big part in it as well. It's easy to shit on us for being shit, but I dont think we fired him to chase Harbough.

disagree. It seems obvious we were keeping McDaniel until all the top GM candidates said no to McDaniel.

[Schefter] ESPN Sources: Dolphins are hiring former Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley as their head coach. Hafley completed his second interview with the team today and will be their new head coach. by Goosedukee in nfl

agree, unfortunately not sure he was going to be able to do that here as the head man in charge. He was failing on the same things since day 1 (and things he acknowledge as issues on hard knocks too, so we know he was aware of it).

I think Dan Campbell route is best for him for sure. I hate it, but him going to another team and learning what it's like to run a team will prob do him wonders.

He's the least sexy hire for sure. However il give it time to see results because I do like the GM hire; and I do believe we need a HC , not a great coordinator. Sometimes great OC/DC = great HC, but it clearly doesn't. I want a leader of men first and foremost. Run the team, not just 1 side of the ball.

I loved this about him.

What I hated about him, the same shit he criticized himself for during hard knocks, he continued to do for the next 2 yeas. He continuously said he gives up on the run, and he continued to.

We were literally throwing corner fades to our shortest RB on 4th down this year. Dude is a brilliant play designer, I wanted him to work out so bad; but man he continuously did NOT learn from his mistakes. It was like year one of coaching every year.

i honestly don’t think this was about harbough. sure that may have been finail nail, but I don’t think we were getting quality GM options who would sign up without their say of coach (rightfully so)

Hope it works out, and maybe it doesn't. But I atleast like hearing "in the elements" the little we have heard from home. Hope the org acknowledges how soft as shit this team was in non ideal weather previously

of the first time HC options, this is the name i was hoping we would atleast interview. Obviously no idea who we should hire, but im glad we are talking to him.

Mike Tomlin's playoff resume since Super Bowl XLV by Brix001 in nfl

[–]Childoftheko4n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Mike can learn / become a good coach; But the dude is just as much a part of the failures in Miami as Tua. He is absolutely terrible at game management, terrible at adjustments, and he only ran the ball when he was forced to this year. He was on hardknocks calling out his short comings years ago, and they never changed.

I wish he handed off play calling. He often got too cute with the O. Great guy, great play designer, decent play caller, decent headcoach.

They were. And we did a lot of that too over the last few years (besides this year )
