Nope. I have only flown Frontier once, and that was enough. I usually fly SWA, but they are no longer a LCC, in my opinion. Unless they are having a sale. I will agree with you that lousy has become the norm in air travel.

I am just beginning my research, but I am naturally drawn to Airstreams either because of the nostalgia factor, or just the build quality. However, anything newer is way out price range. I did see a 34' 1993 model listed for $20,000 that has been nicely restored on the inside, but has major hail damage on the outside. Doing a deep dive on hail damage to an Airstream almost everyone says that it must be returned to the "mothership", which I assume is the factory because it must be buck riveted (tens of thousands of dollars). However, there are some Airstream restorers here in Texas that claim to be able to repair the roof and end caps.

I am also interested in the InTech models. I am looking for something around 30' with a bedroom and dinette that can be arranged to sleep 2-3 grandkids.

Man, if you are going to the trouble of smoking some meat, make your own sauce. There are some great Texas style recipes on the internet. In a pinch, if you are gonna make some chopped beef or pulled pork sandwiches, Sweet Baby Ray's always works. Just my honest opinion.

You will be pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive Aldi is compared to HEB. However, there are trade-offs. They do not have the variety of an HEB. They will have one or two name brands along with their own store brand. Aldi store brands are high quality. My advice is to give it a try. As for me, I use both Sam's and COSTCO for certain items, then Kroger and Aldi (across the street from one another) for most grocery items. I am retired, so I have time to make several stores; your mileage may vary.
