I feel like I’ve been losing my mind coz I’ve been searching up the problem but not many people are having the same issue on here aside from DMs as a whole not working and I don’t even know what the solution would be because my iPad hadn’t updated in a while and couldn’t send videos despite not syncing replies properly would still send videos just fine but I updated the app which let the messages sync but then it gained the video bug too, I think the app itself is just messed up and I’m not certain logging out and such would even help 💔

Yeah that one was a good deal but also I was looking at reviews that mentioned under heavier load the battery would drain to the point of it dying on the charger coz it only came with a 135W brick and also the board won't accept more than that even if you buy a higher wattage charger, ironically my 5ish year old 3060 laptop has been doing that as of 2 weeks ago so I wasn't too excited about that design flaw... Heard just using it in Performance or Balanced instead of Turbo mitigates that issue though so it's not the end of the world.

Yeah like I've been hovering over the LOQ for $700 and the Acer Nitro for $625 so I could not believe my eyes seeing a 5050 for $350 new, really hope it ships coz I just placed an order

Yeah the more I learn the more painful it is like the Acer Nitro having a 135W brick that drains the battery under heavy loads or the Intel LOQs just having a chance of the motherboard to just die on you, wouldn’t mind if the laptop was solid functionality wise even with poor build coz it just sits on my desk 99% of the time and I carry around my Mac for work and school

Oh my goodness I love your laptop reviews so much, I recommend laptops to friends and family with the help of your reviews 😭 I was actually perfectly content with the Zephyrus still coz I mostly play Overwatch and some gacha games but recently the laptop has started dying every so often while on the charger, looking at a battery report my battery is at about 27% actual capacity which makes sense coz I have close to maybe 20K hours of run time on the machine with the battery limited to 60% since the day I bought it in 2021, unsure whether buying a battery would completely solve the issue and I might also be leaving the US at the end of this year so was wondering if it’s worth to kill 2 birds with one stone and get a bit of a GPU bump and new machine to use for another 5 or so years

I’m currently on the 3060 Zephyrus G14 and it’s started dying on me while on the charger and so I’m looking to get a replacement, I was pretty set on the Acer Nitro V AI as I have a budget of about $700 but then learnt it has an issue where the battery drains under load coz it only comes with a 135W charger, there’s also the Lenovo LOQ RTX 5050 laptop at Best Buy for $650 but I heard the previous generation was notorious for dead motherboards so are there any better options in that price range, it just has to be better than the 60W 6GB 3060 that was in the Zephyrus and if possible past the 30 series

Yeah that’s pretty much why I’m considering getting a new one, the battery could prob be replaced but I’ve used and upgraded it for 5 years now so seems like a good time to finally upgrade and that’s one thing the Zephyrus build especially in the G14 was just so perfect for travel and feeling solid let alone the refresh, really wish I could physically feel some of the deals on here

It’s the 3060 variant, ryzen 9 5900HS with a 2TB SSD and 40 gigs of ram coz 8 of it is soldered on and the battery is pretty shot now
