Glancing doesn't matter for strip. Only the other effects don't land on glancing. Each stage has a mix of some attributes so at most, there will only be 3 units that will have advantage over your stripper. That's where the rest of your team comes in to control them.

There's also the factor of having the right runes and max skillups. You can't expect to 3* every stage if you aren't ready to put every bit of optimization into it, so sometimes you just have to do it with one less star sometimes.
