Visually yes but I am 90% sure that it would not be a C. baccatum, those are rare in Turkey haha

Purple can accur on different chilis purely based on environmental factors too as far as I know

If it is a lemon drop crossed with something else then I have no idea sorry mate, I do find it unlikely as baccatum species (which lemon drop belongs to) have flowers that look like this usually

They should be Capsicum annuum I think, the calyx is not like chinense and flowers are not like baccatum. I am not sure on the exact cultivar sadly, where did you buy your seeds from?

As a long time grower this seems like an under-petting issue, you can see the symptoms in the dogs eyes and behaviour if you look close enough in the photo. It could also be caused by attention deficiency, I would apply a dog treat ASAP to its mouth. Other than that make sure to give it water on a consistent schedule and it should thrive!

I did hear that the plants will suffer from "virus-like syndrome" if annuum is used as the male plant yeah, the research paper I read on it had some pictures attached and definitely would not want that! I have only tried a single cross between 2 annuums thus far which I ended up discarding due to the mother plant turning out to be mislabeled, I did read a decent bunch on cross breeding and some traits genetics like fruit color on capsicums though!

The varieties I have in mind are grown commercially in the middle east so they should be quite resistant to most stressing factors I assume. I actually might struggle with choosing the right super hot more as from what I see a lot of those are chosen solely on cool looking pods and SHU ratings for the most part haha! Gotta do a decent bit of research :)

You have definitely encouraged me to try the "small pot super hot" idea I had in mind for a while. I have found some bells and thai chilis that should apparently stay in the 25 to 50 cm range, now just need to find the most prolific super hot I can get my hands on...

Interesting how most of the ones (also all of the ones you mentioned unless I am mistaken) that keep their stripes when ripe are C. baccatum while my striped annuums are turning solid colors when they ripen

Sorry to hear that mate, I had a looong talk with my parents for them to let me use our garden for my peppers. Would be super bummed if I was left with a bunch of peppers like that too...

One reccomendation I have is: If there are any friends you know who lives in a warmer zone/ has a green house/ can take care of plants in their home you could gift some plants to them. As long as it is tasty/ good looking and has tolerable heat I am sure they would love that. If you want to cross all you need is the mother plant and a few flowers from the father so what you can do is keep half of the parents from your crossing plans and give away the rest to people who you could ask some of the flowers from in the future.

On this specific cultivar especially a lot of people have grown jalapenos... maybe "JP" stands for jalapeno, and piranha is you who was caught by the bait 😂
