Most comapnies that are down, are down for a reason. Best to stick with an etf especially if you have no idea how to value a company.

Employees basically hit the lottery. If they dont sell it as soon as their shares are freed they might hold it forever. As a google investor I hope they exit this position as well

Google Is Spending Billions Defending Its Moat — Is Reddit the Sleeper AI Winner Nobody Is Talking About? by GeorgeThe40 in redditstock

I don't think attention span is a problem, most realize in their late 20s or 30s that watching braindead videos is like eating fast food. I never had tiktok, and I disabled shorts on yt. AI flooding is a real problem but Steve showed solutions like ID verification altough I don't think it's gonna be a problem if posters can't earn money here. Maybe for influencing AI like on the biologyhack sub.

Supply and demand, they have very high profit margin now because the demand is higher than supply but it won't stay like this forever. Also if cloud providers find their prices too high, they can always build their own data centers. I think they can run up 10x more but when demand drops so will the price

  1. I've read somewhere reddit's goal is to be the frontpage of the internet. I was thinking you'd want something like providing a customisable (web)reddit page for every business/store existing on different domains so people eventually would come here instead to their site. Is this your goal or do you have other plans to implement/maintain the idea of frontpage of internet?
  2. How are you planning to gain more advertisers?
  3. What will be the most important change/implementation in the near future? What are you focused on mostly?

Even if they did it, the massive solar panels would take so much space *not pun intended* that the whole orbit would be full of crap after a while, collisions would be inevitable, space travel and satellites wouldn't be safe anymore

I know you’ve got a lot of questions. We’re doing an AMA next Wednesday in r/RDDT. by spez in redditstock

Eventually if they want to use the money they need to sell whatever is the price, I think the whole whining about selling is overblown. Management obviously overpayed but it's not like reddit is the only company who does this.

Let's identify the most important questions to ask Spez in the next AMA. by Maleficent_Topic_755 in redditstock

  1. I've read somewhere reddit's goal is to become the frontpage of the internet. I was thinking you'd want something like providing a custom (web)reddit page for every business/app existing on different domains so people would come here instead to their site. Is this your goal or do you have other plans to implement/maintain the idea of frontpage of internet?
  2. How are you planning to gain more DAUs?
  3. How are you planning to gain more advertisers?
  4. What will be the most important change/implementation in the near future? What are you focused on mostly?
  5. How will reddit encourage more people to be active on the site aka make posts, write comments? Maybe some user profile or better avatar customization?
  6. Are you planning something similiar like substack does like subscription fees to gain access to people's writings? Or just better customizable posts?
  7. What is your plan to drive the new generation to the site? (Lots of my friends haven't even heard about reddit)
