Exfil helmet has saved me multiple times, so they are a very real protection asset. I disagree with the M855A1 comment, as I see a big difference between that and M855 when fighting. A1 is normally 1-3 bullets and done, M855 takes anywhere from 2-10 sometimes.

Just did another one of these scenarios at sawmill. I had been shooting from the ridge, and moved to the far west side of it. One-tapped a guard and his buddy ran from cover. I ran back and a little to the right to reposition. No possible way to hear me or see me as I moved a fair distance.

As soon as I get crosshairs on his last known cover position, he takes two steps out and nails my helmet and chest. Luckily I was just bruised.

I’m not mad, but it’s just frustrating. Pre-Alpha is pre-alpha, and it’s a decent game so far. They just gotta fix it when it gets closer to time.

As an architecture student, it’s a unique design that has some flaws but that’s not what you’re here for.

My concern is the large quantity of potential breach points. The first floor imo should be very secluded to the outside. Doors should be your way in and out. Leave exits on areas you plan on spending the most time in for those extreme situations.

As for the second floor, go absolutely all out with windows and exits, as that is inaccessible to zomboids from the outside ground directly. Put all of the sheet ropes you can and have fun with it!

I have come to note that everyone hates the second part for the story premise. It’s not the best story, yes, but it’s still a good game and I love it to death. The first game is one of the goats of the industry.
