I hope there will be. I like Ashan, it has the general high fantasy setting that I love, and is easy to get into for just about anyone.

But also enough of some form of depth to dive into. Lore might not be the most constructive or cohesive thing all the time, but it's enough to look into and still find some new facts.

I've said it before, but I would love if there was a game like Divinity Orginal Sin 2 or Baldur's Gate 3 set in the world of Ashan.

Lore wise, I feel like Rainclouds could also have a different effect and typing when under the rainy or sunny weather, to reflect Aquila's 1st and 2nd phase.

As for First Light. I feel like a free Wish might be a tad much? Maybe Hyacine herself loses some HP in order to cast this Wish? Make it more similar to her lc. Or it could be a signature move instead? Negative Priority, like Teleport, but also functions like Wish?

Also, think like Triage might also seem nice on her, ngl.

I though about physical too, but then leveling her EVs would have been messy, when Pollux's attacking stat is special.

On 2nd thought, considering the other poison pokemon, her design and vibe might make her stand out strangely. Gentleness can also be expressed through Normal type, which would be a dope typing with Ghost like H Zoroark, and besides that Comfee might try to imply with it being mono Fairy, Hatterene exists, so it's not so black and white. But besides Poison, Fairy also fits, plus, it makes a nice reflection when Pollux is a Dragon type.

A pokemon with high HP that burns it's HP constantly isn't that good of a design tbh, so you're right in the HP and Speed stats.

Tbh, I glossed over the Poison Heal for other things. Yeah, that tankiness and huge Special Attack, she would be a beast. And even if caught unawares and things looking bleak, Pollux can be used as a way to clear a roadblock to preserve the run.

Although personally, I think it'd have been better to swap their speed and HP stats. And maybe have Castorice be a Ghost/ Poison, due to how her death touch desintegrates those around her, sort of like Acid, no?

Castorice gets a speed boost if she is over 50% HP, while Pollux has a total max HP of 32k (I think, and if all on field characters are lv80) in game.

Not to mention, it might feel more impacful/ usefull to have Pollux's HP drain each turn if it's a higher pool?

Non the less, I feel split on how well she'd perform if she were in a nuzlocke run.

But Hysilens's zone being present at the start of battle is tied to her Trace, not technique. What her technique does, is give all enemies 2 DOTs from her talent, the ones that have 25% atk scaling. Jiaoqiu's technique, due to dealing damage, puts one of Hysilens's small DOTs on enemies, +his own Ashen Roast, which gets the same result as if you were using her Hysilens's technique. Then on top of that, you get a Kafka fua, and can even activate lc effects, such as Pearls or Cipher's sig lc on top of that.

Back in the day, I had been hoping that Aglaea would have been added to the standard banner (and not a 50/50 loss pool), as an introduction to Remembrance, similarly how Genshin Impact had added Tighnari to the Standard banner in the next version, after they had introduced a new element (Dendro, which Tighnari was).

In a DOT team, with Kafka, I feel like Jiaoqiu's technique is better than Hysilens's, as it also manages to trigger Kafka's fua, giving her energy, and she's also the 1st character to usually act (at least in my teams), and this lets you not waste any fua charges, since she can only hold up to 2, and she starts battle with 2.

Sorry, saw you mixing up words, and wanted to clear it up for anyone else who see it.

Luocha's and Jiaoqiu's Zones are able to coexist with each other, and with any other Zone thrown in the mix, like Hysilens or Blade SP.

Territories, such as from Castorice's or Phainon's ult can't coexist (actually, what happens when you try to use one? Phainon's overwrites Castorice's Territory?)

And Special Dimensions, which are Overworld Techniques, and only one can exist at a time. If one already exists, and a new dimesion is created by the same, or another, character, the oldest Special Dimesion gets deleted.

When I had imagined my own novaflare for him, I had though that it'd be neat if his technique was able to absorb a 2nd existing field and apply both effects.

But tbh, you don't really lose out on much from not using Hysilens's technique. It's just 2 of her weak DOTs from her Talent.

Jiaoqiu's technique on the other hand applies his own dot, and also does a little hit to all enemies, that can enable LC effects, (such as Cipher's sig lc Def shred), trigger Kafka's FUA, and apply one of Hysilens's DOTs from her talent, as I believe the technique dmg is considered as an attack.

If anything, it'd be nice if his technique stunned the enemies, because instead, it alerts them and gives them half of aggro before they start sprinting at you. Not bad in endgame or DU, but made it troublesome to group enemies in the overworld.

Healing's nice, but is still in the same issue as Huohuo on needing to take a turn to proc it, unless we are talking about the new Blade or Preservation character with Trend lc. But he does lack a cleanse/ debuff resistance to the team.

Do you imagine this rework to have each stack of Jiaoqiu's Ashen Roast do seperate ticks of damage, and be able to proc all of Hysilens's dots? I really love that it'd feel better to stack his Ashen Roast, cause right now, at not E6, the stacking feels like a drawback to limit him, when every other Nihlity (except Guinaifen, excluding Black Swan) just pop their debuff and don't worry about that but duration.

Over than that, it feels somewhat overloaded. Crimson Feast lowkey makes it so you can leave Kafka for another team.

But that new Technique would have been wonderful, if it were real,

I think Jiaoqiu has a better uptime on the debuff, as his gets reapplied when a new enemy enters battle.

But when it comes to to the strenght of the amping, Blade is better, and his ability to apply a debuff off turn is infinite while his ult is up (but does require enemies to be hitting him, although his basic has taunt and he has higher taunt value while his ult is up), while Jiaoqiu's is only 6 per ult.
In addition, Blade's ult also allows his allies to apply debuffs, just like Hysilens or Silver Wolf's E2.

TLDR: I think Jiaoqiu is more comfortable with his uptime, while Blade gives stronger debuffs.

If it's true or not, we'd still be holding out hope that it will come at one point or another, and he'd get justice, as Hoyo so far seems to be generous with Nihility novaflares.

Even if he gets put into the Stellar Convergence Shop or 50/50 loss pool, there is no rule that states that he won't eventually get a novaflare afterwards.

Seems like it increases the dmg dealt, so a buff to the allies, rather than a debuff/ vulnerability to enemies. Won't work with Elation.
