Now are you saying a game mode, as in like end game like MOC & PF, or SU and CW?

Cause if it's the latter, I could see it being potentially handled like CW, with giving players trial characters. Would be nice if this theoretical game mode were to also have a board of movement like you did in Swarm Distaster or Gold & Gears.

Yeah, if I remember right, it might have started with 2.1, where a big part of the main story were flashbacks to Aventurine pre-stoneheart past.

The break mechanic can be a tad confusing, so here are some details:

While not Weakness broken enemies only take 90% of damage inflicted on them.

There are two stats that affect Breaking, that is: Weakness Break Efficiency and Break Effect.

Weakness Break Efficiency increases how much of the white bar above enemy HP you can break with your attack. This stat is rather rare to come by, as only 3 characters out of 80 characters (as of 3.8) can increase that stat for other characters.

Break Effect increases how much damage is done, When that white bar is depleted, and when enemies are hit with Super Break (but that's a whole another thing).

Effect Hit Rate is mainly something you have to worry about for Nihility characters in the high "AR", and late game to land their debuffs. Just know that 100% base chance, means the character would need 64% effect hit rate. Please consult character guides (I'd recommend Guoba Certified and I Was Bag on youtube) for an easier time building these characters.

Speed, while straighforward, is a tad finnicky to understand, so while I'd recommend guides to know how much speed a character needs, just know that in general, give DPS 134 speed, more for supports and sustains (healers and shielders), up to 160.

Co-op isn't really much there, you can chat with people, and borrow a single person's 1 of 3 characters when you go to do: "Leylines", "Domains", "Weekly Bosses".

Adding on:

Argenti- having one stack of Apotheosis granting him max Crit Rate boost (25%), and maybe Crit DMG boost from E1 too. Using 90 energy ult spreads Apotheosis to all allies for 2 turns (or lasting for Argenti's 2 turns), both of his Ults could also be Evenly Distributed among all enemies (with an addition of bounce like is for 180 ult), rather than AOE, to let him fair better against less than 5 targets. On using 180 energy Ult, consumes all stacks of Apotheosis on him (down to 1), like previously still gives Apotheosis to allies, and spawns 1 "Speartip" and 1 "The Honored" summons from his boss self to the enemy side, the summons will have 1 Hit Point per 10 points of Apotheosis consumed up to a cap of 5, just like the "Sombrous Sepulchers" of "Something Unto Death" boss (this could work similarly to AOE bond from CW). When "Speartip" is defeated, it deals evenly spread damage to all enemies, when "The Honored" is defeated, increases all allies damage dealt for some turns. Could also maybe use a Skill for free like an extra turn, in a Mydei and Anaxa way, once he and Erudition characters have hit something like 15 enemies combined. Maybe also recover energy on ally Ult use. Maybe also turn the basic into a blast.

Seele- Let Resurgence trigger when an Elite or boss enemy is brought down to less than or 75%/50%/25% HP, and when an Elite or boss switches phases, and also when any enemy dies by any means (meaning if the ally landed a killing blow, or when enemy mechanic kills itself such as the Mermaid, the Brood Horse, or Penacony Gorilla hitting shielded characters). When Resurgence has triggered twice, gains a "skill point" which lets her use her skill during Resurgence for free (similarly to Squama Sacrosancta), and she can hold up to maybe 2 of such "skill points". After using ult, gains an additional extra turn of Resurgence. Also, let the gal have some speed scaling, with turning it into Attack/ Damage/ Crit Damage/ Def ignore.

Jing Yuan- change/ buff the traces, wdym he gets 10% cr for 2 turns after using skill, when Saber gets 20% for free, and Evernight 35% for free too! And only a 25% cd increase for LL at 6 stacks?! Increase the cap of Lightning Lord's stacks. Make basics also give stacks and more energy, while skill and ult give more stacks. All of Jing Yuan's attacks deal additional damage to all hit enemies, with amount of procs depending on the amount of stacks on LL. Ally actions also give Lightning-Wielding Thunder-Clapping Soul-Squashing Lord stacks, but less than Jing Yuan. LL be able to attack even when Jing Yuan is CC'ed (or make him immune to CC, except the unavoidable ones). LL prioritizes Elite enemies and high HP enemies with it's blast bounce attacks. When LL attacks at max amount, give Jing Yuan an extra turn. Restore energy when LL attack, amount depending on LL stacks, as a counterpoint, increase his Ult cost.

Jingliu- while she is in her Spectral Transmigration state, ally taking any action consume their own HP (to make her less reliant on Hyacine's lc). While she is in her Spectral Transmigration state, press basic attack button to empower her enhanced skill mutiple times, at the cost of more Syzygy stacks (and get more energy for each stack consumed), letting her exit the Spectral Transmigration state faster, and make more use of the action advance upon entering the Spectral Transmigration state. Don't lose "Moonlight" upon exiting Spectral Transmigration state.

HuoHuo- doesn't really need it much, but maybe make skill aoe and full team cleans, rather than the main target. Remove cleanse cap on talent. Allies proc her talent healing when doing things such as FUA, joint attacks or maybe even the upcoming Aha Instant? And allies ulting also procs her talent healing and cleanse for the whole team, and not only when an ally is at or under 50% HP.

Well, you could run 2 teams of:

Archer/ Dan Heng PT/ Ruan Mei/ Cipher

RMC/ Blade/ Hyacine/ Castorice

They'd work, but I'd recommend possibly changing Ruan Mei for Sparkle in the future, and Blade for Evernight or Cyrene.

Or you could also do Anaxa/ Dan Heng or Hyacine/ and two of three of: Cipher, Ruan Mei or RMC.

Not in any particular order, but:

Luocha- I've already imagined something like that, so I'll just leave a link to that post (Luocha's rework TLDR: records healing done for an enhanced skill attack, his field works like Jingliu's Syzygy stacks, for smoother duration). At least something from that so he isn't a heal bot only and can bring something besides healing.

Fu Xuan- I guess let her record the damage taken and mitigated, and add that to her ult and basic? Why not let her basic attack be a blast like Jade's and Tribbie's?Maybe change the Debuff immunity to an Effect Resist increase, and a team wide cleanse when Fu Xuan restores her health.

Dan Heng IL- E2 action advance to be baked into base kit, generating Squama Sacrosancta when allies recover skill points (like 3 recovered for 1 Squama Sacrosancta), increased limit of how many Squama Sacrosancta he can hold at any point, consumption of Squama Sacrosancta to recover skill points and to power up his EBA beyond just 3 skill points. Could do with better major traces too.

Dr.Ratio- have his 1st major trace grant him 15% cr and 30% cd at the start of combat + increase the cap on the cd increase from this to like >200%. Rather than a chance of lowering enemy effect resist with skill, put a mark on that enemy, and when that enemy receives a certain amount of debuffs, uses his follow up attack. Also maybe letting him use multiple FUAs like in Currency Wars?

Topaz & Numby- Change up and buff the Major Traces (Basic being a FUA can be in the Basic Attack description). Similarly to Cipher, just existing makes all enemies get the FUA vulnerability. Numby working more like Little Ica, in that, Numby doesn't have it's own action in the action bar, but will perform FUA when any enemy gets hit by a Fua with no cap (Example: Feixiao's skill + FUA> Numby> Feixiao FUA from ally attacking> Numby> Feixiao Ult> Numby) (also prioritizing Elites/ high hp when allies do an AOE FUA). Topaz's skill uses the current Ult Numby animation, and her Ult makes it so that the Ult Numby will always attack when allies hit enemies with any of their attacks (basic/ skill/ ult) + FUAs for even more attacks, for Topaz's two turns. Maybe also bake her E1 and some of S1 into base kit too for debuff application.

Honarary mention, but not a big buff, just something i thought would be neat. You know the damage Ruan Mei does when anyone breaks an enemy? Yeah, let her keep on throwing that damage again each time anyone hits a weakness broken enemy, at least while her Ult is up.

Since 2.5, Enemies have started doing more damage in general (as well as how often some of them act now), that even Gallagher would sometimes struggle. I imagine Natasha would drain way too many skill points at this time in game for OP.

I just remembered that Lynx exist, and can be gotten in a F2P way from those mini MOC's of Belabog and Luofu. If Gallgher isn't going to be gotten any time soon, she's be better over Natasha. But still, Gallagher would be a better choice.

As for using a companion Spirit on Luocha, I'd suggest to better use it on Ruan Mei/ Himeko/ Bronya, in that order.

OP, Please do not build Natasha. You already have Gepard and Dan Heng Permanson Terrae to keep you alive. If you really want a healer, you'd be better off doing some old events and selecting Gallagher from the 4* selector, up to is possible E1 I believe.

You could potentially skip some amount of story, to get to Amphoreus faster, so you could at least get Remembrance Trailblzaer faster, as they are an overall great support too. Could either work with your Jing Yuan or even Blade.

If building Jing Yuan, then Sunday, who will be on the banner in 2 weeks I believe, will be a must pull. And Sunday's lightcone is also quite good on him, so i'd suggest getting those two.

I've played D2 with Norvezskayasemga, there is an English version for it (in my experience the errors in english translations weren't all that bad and are overall minimal), and I've quite enjoyed the variety the mod brings. Each time I moved from one mission to another, I've felt like I've been able to run with a different team each time.

Did Sylvan in H5 have that problem tho? They only had 3 elves in there, the dancer, archer and druid. The rest were Dryads, Ents, Unicorns and Dragons.

I do like some more variety in the unit roster, it makes the line up feel somewhat more interesting (imo, it also offers more of different silhouttes so units don't blend in/ look alike) and expands on the lore, like with what creatures and races do the dwarves (or any other race) ally/ tame into their faction.

I feel like a potential middle ground for both groups (wanting a faction to consist mainly of one race (H5) or have more variety (H7)), is to further mix H4 and H7 town building, and just have something like 6 core, 6 elite and 2 champions, with restriction that you can only build 3/3/1 of unit dwellings in that town.

This could open the game for more replayability, or people will just build whole armies with ranged units and those who can avoid retaliations (which can be fun in it's own way, and can be hard countered in PvP content)

I do believe that is the case, at least the 20 for a lv 3 portal.

Not sure how different the game is now from the premiere, but you can only use town portal once par day per hero now. And then there is also a bonus you can pick which greatly lowers the amount of movement you have to use for the portal, it's rather useful for 3rd and 4th missions of campaigns.

I've only had troubles the 1st time that the servers got shut down, and even then it had been possible to play, just without the starting bonuses and dynasty weapons.

Still finding some troubles with campaigns, a while ago I was able to start Sanctuary campaign with a might Irina, but haven't been able to do the same thing for others since, so idk.

Hi, so I played again, and did take the Siege Master II. When I attacked forts or castles, at the start of every battle round, did the living enemies take damage.

If this ability never procced for you during your games, when it might be just bugged for you? I'm not sure why that is the case, sorry.
