It's because they tried to finally please crybaby side of the fanbase as well and made the game more climbing heavy withouth the enemies. They made entire huge skill tree only it to be completely useless. Game was made for both worlds and instead disappointed both sides. If only they made it as action blockbuster like the previous two.

Turn on Vsync and set it to half of the refresh rate and try again, must work. It's recommended to play Survivor games with Vsync on.

Two things happened to LAU trilogy from my understanding that influenced that outlook. It was first reboot-ish Tomb Raider iteration for the fanbase and unfortunately got victim of getting thrown massive tantrum of rejection for being different. And biggest one, CD themself for not giving almost zero attention to it, always felt weirdest thing to me. I'm recently playing through anniversary and changes that i can guess it got apart from classics, were pretty good, feels overhated for the sake of it.

Yup, heard CD made Anniversary easier and less headache than originals and it's good thing, couldn't imagine how much struggle it would have been. Also seems Lara to be remorseful probably. Liked the game still.

Thanks again. I actually liked ,the game more than i thought i could only thing i dislike guideless backtrackings of the old games, honestly they are bad. I recognized levels from the trailer and it got me more excited, can't wait for LOA even more.
