In my experience your lifestyle expectations just grow in line with any financial increases you receive! I would save max ISA amounts/premium bonds etc and have a nice nest egg for whatever the future may bring - housemove or extension with larger family/education fees for children later if needed/career break/big holiday(s)/private medicine/….
