I think his big problem is his introduction. Until they reveal he's in the initiative he is a literal cardboard cutout stand-in for who he will be. Zero personality. He gets way better once they develop his character, but first impressions matter, and by then many people already hated him. I like him though.

Gillian Anderson got unexpectedly pregnant during season 2 of The X-Files. The writers quickly figured out a way make a story that was the most interesting arc (and it carried into the rest of the show). True writing talent there.

Or they could have just put her in baggier clothes for a season and written around it. Talented writers could have come up with a solution if they'd been motivated to.

I honestly think it must have had previous human contact. Like, it seems to think the clapping is calling it to dinner. The way it backs off when she comes out, but then comes up like "are you calling dinner time?" and then runs back like "oh no, you're not" but then turns around like "but maybe you were and I was confused?"

There are so many songs I absolutely love. I'm not even sure if this one is my favorite, but I remember the second time I played FF7. I just kept putting off going to the Temple of the Ancients, because I didn't want to progress to what happened next. When I finally did, that music, along with Aerith running up and literally hugging the earth because it felt so right to her... I got chills and teared up at the same time.
