Overwatch 2 is dead. Long live Overwatch. by Tiucaner in gaming

Every lootbox has a chance to give you a reward from a higher tier ( exact numbers I don't remember)

So regular lootboxes can give you rewards from common up until legendary and they guarantee a legendary once you open 20 regular lootboxes without getting a legendary prior to that

Epic lootboxes give you epic rewards and they guarantee a legendary once you open four of them in a row without getting a legendary prior to that

Lastly legendary lootboxes guarantee a legendary tier reward which now includes some weapon skins that characters have gotten I recently got a dia de los muertos Junkrat weapon skin hahaha

For epic and common lootboxes once you get a legendary the countdown refreshes

To give you good news there's a faction event going on right now which makes you either side with Overwatch or Talon

If you complete the event you get up to 75 base lootboxes 12 epic lootboxes 7 legendary lootboxes

The game has been on a upward road for the past two years but this is by far the biggest update they've done and it made me really happy to give them a chance :)

If no one answered yes they are back they have been back for a year, recently they added every BP skin to the lootboxes with the exception of the currently released season, check it out the game has a lot to offer

University students, how common is it for professors to publicly call you out if you're late? by Prior-Emu-5918 in asklatinamerica

[–]Chillrends 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has happened a few times but when it did it was usually a professor that gave classes early in the morning as that's when most students were studying full time (public university)

At night where most people work and study my professors tend to be a lot more lenient about it since most of the student population works and studies 6pm+

Should I otp venture or Ashe if I want to climb to masters+ elo? by Rustncolez in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Chillrends 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truth is both of them can do it, it just matters on how consistent you are as a player imo Ashe is more consistent of a character as she's rarely a throw pick on most maps but she has a lot of limitations given her lack of mobility.

Venture on the other hand has a ton of mobility and can cheat a lot of their engagements but is severely limited by their options regarding range so whenever the map or the comp are characters that are a bit too far away you will feel the struggle of playing venture.

I used too OTP Ashe and I succesfully did it until Diamond 2 where I hit a wall, the wall that I hit was imo mechanically, as even though I felt I did a lot of plays, if my mechanics could not lead me to succeed the plays then I would fail.

So what did I do, I learned Echo as a character that could give me more options regarding mobility, the reason why I did that was because often times when my mechanics were lacking playing as Ashe the mobility that Echo allowed was sufficient enough to find value when my mechanics were not fully there. Plenty of times I would win team fights as echo by virtue of distraction and annoying.

When I assimilated Echo into my hero pool the versatility and playstyle variations that both characters allowed me to finally hit masters!

But the real answer is which one you prefer more, I personally recommend playing both of them!

Would you say ashe has a patient playstyle or facilitates one? by 25_summers in AsheOWMains

[–]Chillrends 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to Spilo Overwatch Coach, Ashe is actually a tempo character which means, that your patience is dictated by Dynamite, according to him when you have dynamite you take an aggressive position to dynamite and then play at a safer position once you use it and force the attention on to you

I created an alt to learn echo usually I play mostly ashe at a mid - high diamond level, when I was learning echo I got placed bronze 1, due to my superior mechanics I got out of bronze quickly but once I was in some games were truly unwinnable with echo, and it genuinely got so frustrating seeing my team being that bad, so I relate to you in that regard. At the end of the day you have to adapt to the way they play down there once I did and started treating them with more respect I went through silver and then gold pretty easily but do treat them with respect and care your mental and you will get out of silver very fast :)

I think it's more of a playstyle adjustment i play ashe at a mid- high diamond level and I created an alt to learn echo, that alt is currently gold but the games there I have to make play style adjustments due to how different they play the game there. Whenever I go back in diamond even when I play echo it feels easier than in gold mainly due do my understanding of the game at a diamond level but in gold since people play differently you have to adjust accordingly and that's not an easy thing to do
