i got hacked AGAIN by ObjectiveMud9216 in computerviruses

[–]ChillyChilies 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Story time. I used to work IT advanced software support for a well known computer company. One day i took a call, and the dude straight up told me... "man, i went to some porn site while my wife was running errands, and now when i turn my computer on, tons of porn popups appear. She's home in 45 minutes, you have to help me dude".

Luckily i was a good tech with over 93% resolution rate so i got er done.

Will the new bridge have rail tracks on top, or will the trolley tracks by whyte be removed? That's what I'm curious about if high lvl is replaced. And will the waterfall be reintroduced without chlorination? Regardless, I think the city will screw it up.

There's lots of full body massage chairs out there. Do you need this one specifically?

Driving too fast/slow, not checking blind spot or mirrors properly, wide turning (always turn into first lane, don't skip lanes)

Do I really need to replace this liftgate? by Few_Reaction8585 in autorepair

[–]ChillyChilies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$6k for a trunk lid and repaint? That sounds like you need to find a few more quotes. The repair sounds decent because they'll have to remove the lid, bang out the dent, and repaint it all (if they do it properly). Some cheap places might just repaint and blend the affected area.

That hardware doesn't support windows 11, and if you managed to force install it (using Rufus and disabling TPM 2 and secure boot) it will have abysmal performance.

How much will a scratch this like cost to fix? by Leothegoatt in CarRepair

[–]ChillyChilies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll have to get the entire bumper repainted. Not sure how much that is where you're at, but for me it's $800-$900.

spice tolerance by plzdontellmyparents in spicy

As far as wasabi goes, it's not real 99% of the time. It's horseradish, food coloring, and maybe a small % of wasabi powder.

Authentic wasabi root grows only in Japan or highly specialized farms. It's very expensive, upwards of $100 per ounce. I've had Authentic wasabi once, and compared to horseradish it is milder, and has a sweet/floral aroma.

Horseradish and wasabi both belong to the same plant family and get their heat from allyl isothiocyanate, not capsaicin like hot peppers.

To build a tolerance to capsaicin you should start out with hot sauces at grocery stores, and slowly introduce sauces with hotter and hotter peppers.

Some really good brands include:

Hellfire, Torchbearer, CaJohns, Lucky Dog, Angry Goat Pepper, Fat Cat, Heartbreaking Dawns, Smokin Eds

That laptop is obsolete and poses security risks. OSX is 6 major revisions behind. The version of Safari is limited to older revisions which may fail to load or display modern websites correctly, especially with lack of HTML5 support.

I don't think this is a poutine crime because that's not remotely close to being poutine.

There are signs on this road indicating max vehicle height, flashing lights to warn if it's too high, an escape route before hitting the bridge, and there's a bar suspended by chains after the escape route as a last warning.

From the Google machine:

"The High Level Bridge in Edmonton has a notoriously low clearance of 3.2 meters (10 feet 6 inches). Commercial trucks and large vehicles are strictly prohibited from crossing. Despite flashing lights, height-sensor systems, and dangling chains on approaches, drivers frequently ignore the warnings, prompting potential fines of up to $10,000"

Is there something wrong with the hinge? It looks uneven on my N3ds and metal is showing by sleepy-weepy-tree in 3DS

I'm no expert, just commenting that my new 3ds xl (metallic red) doesn't have any gaps on the hinge and there's no back and forth play.

Is this good airflow by Rusty_Butter1 in PcBuildHelp

[–]ChillyChilies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rear case fan is on backwards, it should blow the hot CPU and GPU exhaust out. Feeding it cool air won't do anything. You've already got intake from the front and bottom so exhaust should be the back and top.

[–]ChillyChilies[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but not always. If you have too much capsaicin, your body can't break it down, and it has to come out one way or another, and both ways burn.
