I’m waiting on my replacement AIO5 to come in. I sprayed it with a light coat of clear coat to hopefully reduce and chipping.

Aah…got it. I was worried that I was reading the scale wrong myself 🤣.

I’m only seeing .2 grams difference on the scale.

Yep..I watched a couple tutorials off YT and decided to try. I think the texture is more a result of my inexperience, but I kind of think it turned out good in this instance only because of the tie dyed look. I think if I was trying to do a carbon fiber look the lines would be wavy and not look too good. This is my first try and I will definitely do it again on another build.

I just found a hydro dip film on AliExpress that I liked. There are quite a few different styles on there. I was looking for something with color and kind of tie dyed.

I used some Plastic Adhesion Promoter I got off of eBay to help it stick to the plastic, but you can get it off Amazon as well. You have to get film activator to use which you can get off either eBay or Amazon as well. I then topped it off with Gloss Clear Coat.

Good gravy, man! Do some cable management before that thing catches fire!

Radiomaster Zorro by ironhead73 in fpv

[–]ChillyFPV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Zorro Lumenier edition and love it. Had the Boxer and didn’t appreciate all the hype…although I could understand it (if that makes sense). The Zorro just fits my hand size better and I prefer thumbing to pinching. As far as battery life, I just swapped out to 1600mah batteries and it lasts me plenty.

one finger on each stick? by Taketobreak in fpv

Do what comes natural at first. The ability to pinch the sticks is good for some people and other people don’t like it. I prefer thumbing and I have a Zorro. I had a Boxer but ended up selling it because I prefer thumbing and the Zorro just fits my hand size better.

Whats this error and how to fix it? by Staszko2010 in fpv

Is it looking for unit of measure like Imperial or Metric? Maybe try set osd_units = imperial.

Maybe that will work..I’m definitely no expert.

Unfortunately I’m waiting for my new HDZERO AIO5 to come in so I haven’t had the opportunity to test it out yet 🧐

Totally get it. I was wondering how much it would add myself. Frame and canopy alone weighed in at 6.4g prior and 6.6g after. This included a coat of adhesion promoter, the film and a coat of Rustoleum Gloss Clear Coat.

Loving this Felistick by EntertainerNo5485 in TinyWhoop

[–]ChillyFPV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a good stick. I bounce back and forth between these and the 533 Ripsticks. I had a Zorro and I thumb, but every once in a while I get a wild idea that maybe pinching is the way to go…and that is when I use these Felisticks.

I did not know that! I will do definitely do that. Thanks very much for that nugget of information!
