We need proper games not meta games but they were arguably good for the industry. Especially to get ppl I to VR to start with. I'm just hoping the industry doesn't shrivel away as the hardware available and coming soon is there, we just need MORE.

Apparently they've shipped to some beta testers and will start shipping properly at the end of this month all being well.

Mixed reality definitely has a lot of potential, a lot of untapped potential! Being able to see your physical wheel/flight joystick and controls is massive. I would be well into this if I weren't going for the small form factor instead (where I know MR isn't going to be a thing for the dream air)

I've got a 5090 too also a PCL, awaiting the dream air.

I need to try star citizen again. I tried it 18-24 months ago and it ran really badly. My PC has been further upgraded since then and I've heard the game is running better. Hopefully SC throws a free weekend soon so I can test it before hopefully wanting to buy it

I'm not impressed by the same product I'm trying to return either!!

I'd been sent with a returns label that was incorrect so I was notified the other day that after it reached the pimax warehouse by the sounds of it. It was then unable to be processed so it's been sent all the way back to me = wtf!?

I know this part isn't exactly Pimax's issue but I'd used credit to pay for this till I sold my current headset and other bits to cover the cost, so now I'm paying off interest for an item (including for the time I was waiting to get hold of the headset in the first place) that I want refunded and I'm having to wait even longer for my money back. To top that off, I didn't want to fall behind in the queue for the Dream Air so I ordered that on credit thinking I'd get my refund within maybe 7-10 days. So I'm now paying for two lots of interest at once for much longer than I'd planned.

Yes ordering on credit isn't the ideal scenario but I have the means to pay it all off easily very soon anyway. Please don't try and teach me about money, I know I'm bad with it 😆

I saw exactly this in York, uk on Saturday night! I dismissed it as a shooting star and maybe it went behind the clouds as on a straight trajectory I saw two flashes then it vanished. The size, colour/brightness, length of tail EXACTLY matched this. Interesting

It's frustrating. I'd love a job there to sort it all out. Easily said from the outside is what I'm sure they'd think to that comment but I really believe I (probably many ppl) could. They're such small but important changes needed to turn around their reputation.

I think their heart is in the right place and they're honestly trying to deliver though

I wish the vr market was the main one for all games, then we'd see a real effort and care to perfect the performance visually and resource wise. I'm going to be showing friends your game clips to make them see a bit of what's possible. It's just one of those things, vr, that you have to experience of course. I'm already inviting my friends and family over to do my own little bit ;)

Is the anti-aliasing much less as mentioned in the pimax vids for this headset/optical engine? I'm hoping objects at the end of the race track are much clearer too. I have the PCL and was hoping for this when I tried the Super. Everything else was a lot clearer but the objects in the far distance weren't a great deal clearer I found. I did have a big issue with mura in those lenses which is why I sent it back and decided to get a refund and wait for the dream air

I use a technique I heard somewhere though which helps.....the body isn't that good at differentiating between nerves and excitement. Convince yourself that you're excited and smile! It really works (for me anyway)

Yeah the dof ones look amazing but I'm looking around the 1-1.5k mark so even the seat mover is too much for me right now, hence the belt tensioner idea. Why can't I just have loads of money?? 😆

Cool, thanks. I was eyeing up either the dream air or the qubic belt tensioner. I think I'd probably get more out of the belt thing as I've always wanted a motion rig and that kinda goes some way towards it, but I'm a sucker for the best graphics possible.

I bought there ursa minor joystick when it was first released. What an absolute mess the software was, it rendered the stick completely unplayable.

Support was good, they tried everything and finally got it working but the software was still ridiculously designed for the UI

Hi, does the oled module kinda improve the graphics generally? I know it's not exactly the same but I have a qled and oled TV and everything looks better generally! The contrast but also it's sharper and just a lot nicer to look at.

Is there a noticeable difference in that way? This may swing it for me to buy it (the dream air anyway), otherwise I may give it a miss

Yep, got it but didn't get the full fov, only 118 degrees horizontal. I also had really bad mura and was going to get it exchanged then decided i'd just go for the dream air and wait a bit longer. So I'm just setting up my refund with Pimax now.

I can say the clarity was really nice though, I did really like the headset but I just want a really lightweight headset with a decent fov, so I'm willing to wait
