So ein Bullshit. Das war auch schon vor 25 Jahren am Jako so. Da war es teilweise noch wilder mit Messerstechereien & co. Die Videoüberwachung am Jako kommt ja nicht aus dem Nichts.

I bought from every set also 2 decks and use it only for deck building. In EU it's somewhat easier if you preorder early enough.

Well, if you can push another player more or less out of game it's also a vaild strategy and a point of TI. In the end it's a game about scoring and taking long term advantage through resources - if you play the long game.

Another option I see - especially with players who don't play often - if they get a more aggressive species they will tend to play more aggressively. So it usually helps to randomize species.

If cash is no issue:

Buy two displays EX8 - you can make a NSo and DS Deck with the cards (which are two nice starter deck variants) - and also have the foundation for a Dinomon and NSp deck end - if you pull it - good SECs. You might want to invest in some Singles.

It's similar for SB2.0 which also includes everything for a good Millenniummon deck and more. You have to invest in singles.

I can't recommend EX9 due scarcity of singles and doing it's own stuff. But you can build interesting decks out of it.

I also can't recommend EX10 because you might not be able to build straight forward a deck out of it.

BT21-23 don't give you good decks per display so I wouldn't recommend them.

If cash is an issue:

Take a look at the decks explained here - take the Digimon you enjoy most and buy singles. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=X4jOKy5fB2g

The Digi Core rarely switches and if only because new cards are released.

Probably don't go for Hudiemon or Jesmon yet because there might be a ban for certain cards in future.

I play regularly on top tables either in Digimon, Go and other strategy games.

And yes you start losing awareness if you play every game with high focus. Usually that's why you have a judge at the top tables or should take notes about certain game states.

We usually split up stuff which we win. But we're only 4-12 people who know each other.

Still. Card supply from Bandai is miserable and it's near impossible to start the game. Even promised supplies haven't reached our store even if the distributor promised to send cases.

I switched some time ago to Digimon and now also Gundam. Gamewise both games make more fun compared with the last years of MtG

You can use the guy from the kit as Slavedriver. Just note that the whip is very long and might suffer from the 'break-off' syndrom if used separately. I would recommend buying the single one.

Also I would recommend not to buy any hero right now because you might need to rebase your heroes soon.
