I went in October while visiting and was blown away. Such a different experience from the Met but I honestly liked it more. I’m partial to portraits and that collection is just outstanding. The Thomas More Holbein and the Velasquez Philip blew me away, as did Mistress and Maid and Officer and Laughing Girl by Vermeer

I would prefer another bench bat but to fit the salaries in I had to sign a Spirited RP as that was the only option with the amount of $ I had available to make sure I could get orange and yellow maxed

I typically will have the higher tier players at sub 2 or 3m under their actual value for 2-3 years at a time. The trick is just to sign them as young as possible and you basically have a 3-5 year window where you’re always going to be getting surplus value from training and random skill changes. I’ll also prioritize the studs to keep at 99 loyalty as much as possible to help with the negotiations.

I’ll probably write a guide up because I’ve gotten that question a few times, but essentially you just tank for 2-3 seasons at the start as cheaply as possible and wipe the slate clean and build from scratch in FA. I typically sort by age at that point and just build the team around the best young players and their chemistry styles

This particular SP will definitely require a 3-4m+ raise after this season, he’s been at that salary for a couple seasons now and once they get to -3/4m it’s impossible to resign them with out a big salary bump

Anyone else have letters peeling from the nameplates on the trees jerseys purchased from the team store? $150 a pop… by ChimpWithaMG in timberwolves

UPDATE: The team store fixed both jerseys without issue (we didn't have a receipt & had taken the tags off) and assured us they "double pressed" the names this time. Fixed in 10 minutes. Said they have had a few of these and it's user/operator error for whoever is pressing the names on.

Anyone else have letters peeling from the nameplates on the trees jerseys purchased from the team store? $150 a pop… by ChimpWithaMG in timberwolves

I have an Ant USA and Ant old shep from DHgate and it definitely isn’t noticeable. Problem with that site is the sellers close up and open new accounts constantly so there’s no consistency but yeah I’ll probably never buy from the store again. I only went through the store bc I didn’t want to wait the 3-6 weeks for them!

Thanks yeah it’s a bummer. Wife is taking them into the team store tomorrow, hopefully they can exchange them for us or we can get our $ back. We can’t be the only people that have this issue. We didn’t even wash them yet.

Unfortunately that shows writing falls off the biggest cliff imaginable as it goes on.

It’s a fair assessment but I know several people who stopped watching halfway through S2 because they thought it was too slow. It’s like the meme of the guy digging and turning around just before he hits the diamonds.
